[It's Saturday - a fine Saturday afternoon. DC's favorite prosecutor is - gasp - not in the office to deliver this transmission. However, he is still dressed as fabulously as ever and is surrounded by shelves of books in the spare bedroom which he had long since converted into his personal library. In fact, a few books are on the table he is seated at, and one particularly thick and ancient-looking one is open before him, along with his organizer. Edgeworth shuts the book - at a glance, one can tell that it is part of Shibusen's library collection. The organizer remains open but from this angle, you can't quite make out what he has been writing.]
Good day. I'm Miles Edgeworth, public prosecutor and one of the heads of the Kuzunoha Detective Agency, which specializes in investigation, dissemination and archiving of information, and security. [In case you folks forget men who wear cravats and wine-red suits on a daily basis, and what they do around here. But really, this is for formality's sake and the new folk.]
[He clears his throat and folds his hands neatly on the table, but not on his closed book.]
I would like to remind everyone, especially the newer guests, that the Agency is, as always, looking for agents, messengers and guards. If you have experience with law enforcement, investigation, or any similar fields, and you wish to work with us, you are more than welcome to contact me, or my co-head, Near, for an interview. If you have no such experience or credentials, we can take you on as an apprentice. Furthermore, we are also seeking maintenance staff. [AKA janitors.]
Our office is located in the Shopping District. [And here he will give directions beginning from Shibusen, and an alternate route that begins at Casualty Communal. Clearly Edgeworth has been around for so long that he knows the city well.] I suggest visiting us on weekdays, preferably from late morning to afternoon.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask either me or Near.
[A pause. He looks...thoughtful for a moment, as if pondering what to say next.]
By the way, I am always looking for regular chess opponents -
[Edgeworth suddenly stops and glances down...somewhere, under the table. Then a furry, reddish-brown head pops up and stares up at him. He sighs, shaking his head, and rests a hand on the Australian Shepherd's head. The faintest trace of a smile is visible on his face before he resumes his serious, calm expression and faces his communicator again.]
And I would like to remind everyone that, in the light of anti-Shibusen movements, it would be in everyone's best interests to not travel alone at night, as much as possible, and to report any suspicious activity immediately to us, the Watch, or Shibusen, as we all cooperate to work toward your safety and welfare.
[The Australian shepherd whines impatiently and he shushes her gently.]
That is all. Thank you for your time. [Spoiler: It's Edgeworth's turn to walk the dogs today.]

[It wouldn't be just to let the informants with less-than-stellar criminal records run away freely even after they've given useful info, after all. Giving info was not a get-out-of-jail-free ticket.]
