Good afternoon everyone, I hope you're all okay... [The young man on the feed is a very worried looking Yuuichi. Though, you can't see much more than his face for some reason...]

It's terrible what's been happening lately... but everything is going to be taken care of soon, right? Hopefully we'll be able to put this behind us....

And if anyone's out of a place to stay, my home isn't too wrecked.. nothing more than a few broken windows, luckily. So you're free to stay with Taiyou-kun and I if you want! Ah.. after things settle down, of course.

[He then moves his communicator back a bit, so everyone can see the sling his left arm was in.]

And Keroro-san.... I won't be able to cook for a few weeks.. I'm sorry! I can still take orders and deliver food, but at the moment, my left arm is completely out of commission... Ahhh... I'm so sorry for inconveniencing you...

[ Silent and a short distance into the room, Yuuichi's partner was facing away but listening in on the other's broadcast. He was seated, with first-aid kit in his lap and a mirror beside him. He still had yet to change his bandages for today. ]

H-hey that's not... [ Taiyou turns, and pauses upon hearing the last few sentences. ] I don't think you should go to work... I'm... sure Keroro-san would understand.

[ He looks away again a few seconds later. ... Really, it was his fault Yuuichi got hurt in the first place. ]

[He sets his communicator down onto a table, and tilts his head slightly.]

It's just a fracture, Taiyou-kun... I don't want to be a bother to Keroro-san...

[ Taiyou laughed dryly to himself. ]

Just a fracture. Right...

[Yuuichi smiles just a little bit, to hopefully make Taiyou feel a bit better.]

...don't worry about me, alright? I'll be healed up in a couple of weeks.

[ Taiyou stays quiet for some time. He still can't look at him.

But eventually, he nods. ]

... Yeah. Okay.

... [He stands up then, and walks over to Taiyou, stopping in front of him and crouching down so they were eye-to-eye.]

I'll be able to use my arm again in a little while and this whole incident will be put behind us.

Everything will be okay.

[He reaches up with his good arm to lightly ruffle Taiyou's hair.]

I promise.

[ He avoids eye contact as much as he can, or any change in expression, though the distance (or lack thereof) makes Taiyou tighten his frown. And when Yuuichi's hand reaches his hair, that was as far as he could keep in his emotions. ]

I'm... sorry... [ His lips quivered. And he covers his eyes with one of his hands, because there's no way he wants Yuuichi to keep looking at him. ]

It's my fault... I-...

Oh no, no no no... don't think that way, Taiyou-kun! It's not your fault at all! [He gives Taiyou an almost sad look.]

I should have acted more like an adult... I wasn't thinking clearly. If I hadn't had used violence against that man, I probably could have gotten us out of there safely...

No that's--! I... If I was stronger I wouldn't have gotten hurt... And I could've... protected you...

[ Taiyou clenched his hand into a fist. ]

I can't... I can't believe I let that happen...

[He shakes his head.]

They were older adults, Taiyou-kun.. Really, really strong adults... I don't think the situation would have changed much...

I... I still refuse to believe this is all I can do...

I... I'll get stronger...

I'll get stronger.

[Hearing Taiyou's resolve, Yuuichi stares at his partner with what seems to be an almost astonished expression, as if he was surprised about Taiyou's proclamation. But after a few moments, he suddenly grabs one of Taiyou's hands with his free hand, determination set on his face.]

You will get stronger, and so will I. We'll get stronger, together.

Don't worry about something like that, de arimasu! Focus on resting, Yuuichi-dono. We still have the temporary staff, so we'll be fine, de arimasu.

Are you sure...? I'd feel bad taking time off of work... it's my fault I got injured in the first place...

Don't be ridiculous, Yuuichi-dono.

I'm not sure what happened, but I doubt that Yuuichi-dono went out of his way in order to get injured, de arimasu. Sometimes we can't help the things that happen, de arimasu. Take as much time as you need, de arimasu.
