Second Song | Video | June 6, Late Afternoon

[Today, Karina looks nicely dressed up in a simple black dress and a few baubles on one wrist. She's in what seems to be a rehearsal room of some sort with a standard piano beside her.]

I told a few of you over at Morning Training that Dorsia hired me as a musician for them, but... actually, tonight is going to be my first performance. It's really funny. I'm really used to being in the limelight and everything, since it's what I did for a living back home, too. But I still can't help but feel a little nervous. I guess it's just that feeling of performing in front of a new crowd.

Anyway, here is a little taste of what I'll be playing tonight. I wrote it myself. I hope you like it, and you come see me perform more at Dorsia tonight.

[And with a smile, putting on her best air as a performer, she begins to play her song.]

[Karina can't help but laugh a bit at that.]

You mean those songs I did as Blue Rose?

[Karina totally wouldn't be surprised. After all, her acoustic songs were never recorded. The only songs almost everyone heard from her were Blue Rose's.]

Yeah, those ones.

[And then she covers her mouth when she realizes something.]

Oops, that was suppose to be a secret, right?

[gonext]

[Karina laughs.]

It's no big deal. I told some people that I was an idol back home. Besides that, I came in here dressed as Blue Rose. The costume is still in my closet.

[traust]

Aww really? Dad doesn't have his costume here, I think. But he's retired so it sorta makes sense.

[gonext]

Actually... before I came here, your dad came out of retirement. He was running with the Second League Heroes.

[She laughs softly, remembering seeing him run in that goofy way he did as she was perched from the ice pillar she created to capture criminals.]

And he totally kept the green mech suit.

[traust]

Whaaat? He didn't tell me about this. I thought he was going to stay at home for once.

[She puffs her cheeks out a bit and blows some hot air out.]

[gonext]

Ah... w-well... it took a while before I saw him again, really...

[traust]

How long was it?

[Her reply was more snappish, now that she learned this bit of info.]

It was a year after he retired.

[Karina's tone is a little more concerned now as it seems that Kaede wasn't all that happy with what she's hearing.]
