[Today, Karina looks nicely dressed up in a simple black dress and a few baubles on one wrist. She's in what seems to be a rehearsal room of some sort with a standard piano beside her.]

I told a few of you over at Morning Training that Dorsia hired me as a musician for them, but... actually, tonight is going to be my first performance. It's really funny. I'm really used to being in the limelight and everything, since it's what I did for a living back home, too. But I still can't help but feel a little nervous. I guess it's just that feeling of performing in front of a new crowd.

Anyway, here is a little taste of what I'll be playing tonight. I wrote it myself. I hope you like it, and you come see me perform more at Dorsia tonight.

[And with a smile, putting on her best air as a performer, she begins to play her song.]

Yeah, I'd do that. And besides that, it'll just be you and Kaede, right? One table shouldn't be tough. And it's the least the manager could do. He really liked my music. He said it would be alright if I invited friends to watch my first show.

[For a brief moment, Kotetsu looks a little uncomfortable, mostly because he'd been about to reflexively say that of course Barnaby would come along too... except he can't. But soon enough he brightens up easily, instead looking slightly sheepish.]

Wow, that's awfully nice of you. I'll have to pay you back sometime. But yeah, I guess if it's no bother, then Kaede and I can come and see you for sure!

No need to pay me back at all. It's the least I can do for helping me adjust to this place.

Well look at you, you're like an adult now! It's impressive! But alright, no sense in arguing with that.

Hey, I've been an adult for a while! I'm 18 now!

But anyway, I'll see you and Kaede later, right?

That just means you're a new adult, so you're still more kid than adult. Give it a couple more years and you'll earn your title soon enough. [Kotetsu laughs, but his expression warms up quickly so she doesn't take his words as if he's making fun of her.]

You'll see us for sure! And hey, maybe one of these days I can come by and see you myself! Just like old times.
