Not at all. No one seems to be collaborating on these things at all, though, so he may end up with several cakes.

[Sound only due to the fact that he looks like he's in pretty rough shape from the 'greeting' he received from Asuka the previous evening, and replying in text feels way too impersonal to do to Kaworu. He'll even refrain from using some kind of filter because he sees right through the 'mistake' of not putting one on the entry in the first place. There's a particular waver to his voice out of sheer embarrassment over having his birthday called out on over the network, but he doesn't necessarily sound displeased with Kaworu.]

I'd still like to do something. It... would be a really nice change of pace from the last few days.

We could go back to the music store. And we could invite Asuka as well. Only if you want, that is.

[he'd completely understand if you don't. and a large part of him does want to keep shinji all to himself for a while. but he knows asuka is important to shinji too, and it couldn't hurt to try to befriend her as well.]

[He pauses for a moment, because while he was looking forward to spending some time with just Kaworu, it... would feel a little unfair for him to not at least try and include Asuka, especially since she only just arrived. He knew his own adjustment to Death City would have been easier if he had a familiar face with him more often right from the start. Not like she hadn't already made a few friends or anything The way their first re-encounter had gone left him feeling a little wary, but still...]

If she wants to come as well, that would be fine.
