[sugata was used to living a normal quiet life, so dealing with slow days was alright. but this was getting ridiculous. he wanted to do things! but he couldn't really do a lot due to an unfortunate circumstance. and if he had to watch one more death-themed cooking show he was going to blow. this cabin fever was going to be the death of him.]

What do you all do to pass the time here? Other than working or going on missions. [as much as he'd like to help, he can't really go out on any rescue missions right now.]

I'm afraid I don't listen to music as much as others do. The only time I did was when I was back home. And I'm fairly certain they don't have the singer's music here.

Then you have an opportunity to find something new. Or introduce that artist's work to the city by singing it yourself.

I suppose I-- [wait... what.... he squints a little at the mirror. did he just... hear kaworu correctly?] I'm afraid if I sing it, it will lose all of it's meaning. I can't quite grasp the emotion Wako puts into her songs.

That does not mean you should not try. The meaning may change, but your emotion is no less valuable than hers, especially if the song means so much to you.

I suppose you have a point with that. But... [he hums quietly to himself.] I think I'll hold off of singing one of her songs for now. [because then he'd wish that she were here, and that would be p. selfish.]

For now, yes. Her songs mean a lot to me, and while it would be great to share them with everyone else. I don't think I can do it at the moment. But if the opportunity ever presents itself then yes. I will share them at some point.
