second dream ♔ voice (june 15)

[sugata was used to living a normal quiet life, so dealing with slow days was alright. but this was getting ridiculous. he wanted to do things! but he couldn't really do a lot due to an unfortunate circumstance. and if he had to watch one more death-themed cooking show he was going to blow. this cabin fever was going to be the death of him.]

What do you all do to pass the time here? Other than working or going on missions. [as much as he'd like to help, he can't really go out on any rescue missions right now.]

Hamel was sitting, cross legged on the sidewalk in front of the mall. Or at least he had been until the sidewalk fried his ass now he'd moved to a planter under a tree. This place was too hot for it's own good. So he had fabric all around him and he was still piecing things together with great enthusiasm. He hadn't had anyone he could get into costume yet here. This was fantastic. And he still needed to make enough money to make a costume for that hot nurse chick with the enormous hooters. He salivated a little at the thought before wiping his mouth with the back of his wrist guard and piling things together. If he could convince this guy to help him make a little extra spending cash that would mean he'd be able to make at least two more costumes. Which was FANTASTIC.

But it was still a lot of distance to cover by foot where he was, so it takes him a little while to get there. Thankfully he didn't get lost though! He should have probably asked for the guy's name, but it hopefully wouldn't be too hard finding a guy with costumes sitting out at the front of the mall. He's actually quite easy to spot once he gets closer!

But he's not sure what to make of the actual costumes themselves...

Hamel has been really crap at getting names. He's an egomaniac and other people's names just don't seeme to matter much to him.

He has some fabric with him but only one costume is done. "Oh good, you're here. It's hot as fuck out here. Here." He holds up the sparkly dress and stands to compare it to Sugata's body. He's even a little girly, the hair color is wonderfully horrific next to the colors of the dress. Which will only make him more eye catching.

As for the sling, he's apparently not very concerned about it.

He looks at the....dress with mild disgust. "You want me to wear this?"

No way man, no way in hell is he going to wear this.

"You agreed to wear this." Hamel replied with a mildly annoyed tone. "Come on, shirt off." And if Sugata isn't careful Hamel will disrobe him right there in a dust cloud. Regardless any disgust on the other man's part is completely ignored because Hamel is excited about getting to finally put someone in costume. And also because Hamel doesn't really care if the guy isn't interested in it. "The ruffles were particularly difficult." He looks very proud right now.

"I said I agreed to wear a costume, I didn't know it would be this type of costume!" He pauses as he looks at the other. "And wouldn't it be better if I changed in a stall?"

Not that Sugata has any issues with that (well, okay, if we're being completely honest, he probably has a small issue with it) but, he really doesn't want to get arrested for indecent exposure.

"Dude, you're the one griping about bordeom. I made the money and put in the work." He blinks. "A stall?"

"You mean you wanna go inside or something?"

He hated to admit it, but he has a point. A small point. But a point nonetheless. "Well it would be better than undressing out in the open, wouldn't you think?"

It's probably best not to admit it. Because Hamel takes a mile if you give him an inch. He glanced around and shrugged. "I guess." He points to some bushes. "You can go in there." The mall having a restrooms never even occurs to him.

And he is perfectly fine with changing behind some bushes! Because the last thing he wants to do is get arrested. Though it would be a completely hilarious story to tell years from now. If he even remembered the place. But anyway, he disappears momentarily and changes in peace. He pops out a few minutes later in the odd... costume.

"Well, what kind of performance did you have in mind?"

Hamel's eyes gleam as Sugata comes out in sparkly pink and orange. He plops the hat down on top of his head and starts moving around him making adjustments, with no concern at all for Sugata's personal space. Then out come the maracas, stuff them into his hands and then disappears for second before coming back out dressed in what looks like lederhosen and an organ grinder with a stuffed monkey on top.

"You get to dance obviously." It's probably best not to question where he found a street organ. Or why he's wearing lederhosen.

Sugata abandoned questioning this guy's sanity a long time ago. Although, if we're being technical he stopped questioning when the other suggested that Sugata change in a bush. So it wasn't really that long ago!

"I assumed that. But I wasn't sure if there was a specific dance I needed to preform."

Sugata is his favorite kind of person. Goes along with what he wants him to and doesn't ask a lot of annoying questions.

"Uh... one that matches the music I play. Make it entertaining or people won't give us money." And that's the whole point of this. For Hamel. Also not being boring but that was kind of just a bonus. "You can dance, right?"

"Of course I can." Though he was more familiar with formal dancing as opposed to the other types of dancing. But he was confident in his skills that he could learn a new dance if he needed to. "What kind of music are you planning on playing?"

"Great!" He's happy enough with that and he sets an old hat out on the ground and starts winding the winch on the street organ. The music is horribly miss matched with the costume but he had to make do with what he had. "That kind pretty lady." Yes now Sugata was in character as far as Hamel was concerned. "Now dance!"
