But enough of that. I'm looking for a sword. A good one. One-handed, fairly balanced and made of a reliable metal, sharp enough that it won't resist when I cleave through bone. Bring me that and I'll be sure to lay those Witches to waste.

Unless you're lucky enough to find a Weapon partner of the exact sort you're looking for, you're not going to have much success with an ordinary weapon on its own, however much you'll doubtlessly insist otherwise.
