Hello there, everyone. I’m one of the new arrivals, so I thought I should introduce myself. [The man’s voice is confident, but gentle. He has the sort of voice you’d expect to hear on the radio: clear and crisp, with precise pronunciation.]

My name is Sasame. If any of you know Kei, I'm a friend of his from the same world. They told me during the tour that I’m a Weapon, so that means I need a Meister as a partner if I’ve understood everything correctly. [He pauses, then continues, for a brief moment his voice becomes serious.] I’ve been told about the situation here, and I’d like to help. I have some fighting ability, so I think I’d be useful. I’m planning on going to training every morning, so if anyone would like to practice together...I’m available.

Ah, also. [And his tone brightens again.] I was told during the tour that there were a few radio stations here? I had an advice show back home, so I have experience working on the radio. I was curious if anyone was hiring, or if any stations would be interested in letting me do my show. Actually...[Now he sounds flirtatious.] If there’s any girls who need advice, I’d be happy to listen! I’m a pro, after all.

I think that’s everything I wanted to cover. I’ve enjoyed meeting everyone here so far, and I'm looking forward to meeting everyone I haven't met yet!

Well, if I'm going to be stuck here, I want to get to know everyone! [He chuckles.]

So you do have a partner! Well, whenever you're free, I'm available. I'd love to meet her!

Actually, the rules in this world are less strict than in ours. So my partner is a guy. [Drinks tea] His personality is somewhat rough, but his methodology tends to fit into mine quite well. [As in, both of them double plan and often things fail because of plan clashing]

...A guy?

[...Huh. He's not actually not as surprised as he would expect himself to be.]

Well, if the two of you work well together, then that's all that matters, right? I'd still like to meet him.

[Although he sounds a little less excited. Guys aren't quite as fun to tease as girls. Unless they're like Hayate, then it's hilarious.]

[Gives a sort of a chuckling sigh] [Sasame, always mixing work with pleasure]

I am quite fond of this change actually, a guy is certainly more practical. It diminishes considerately the number of things which can go wrong. [Like danger of a partner falling for another; less sensitivity; no misguided objectives, etc]

You should try it as well.

[For a brief moment the corners of his mouth twitch downward. "Things can go wrong" just makes him think of Takako.]

[But he catches himself and refuses to allow himself to dwell on it. The smile's back so quickly it's like it was never gone. He brushes the thought away with a gesture of his hand.]

I don't think I would do very well with a guy for a partner.

[Kei catches that, suppressing his surprise. Sasame was still...]

[Then he sips his tea and pretends that he didn't see anything]

I guess you are more suited to conduct a girl.

[And he changes subject]

Also, although my powers are gone, I still have a sort of intuition with electronics... If you need help to mount the radio station, I would be more than happy to assist you.

Oh! Would you? [That definitely seems to brighten his mood!] That would be wonderful! Kilik told me there's a guest-run radio station in the city, but even if there is, I'll still need someone to help with the technical side of things. I usually had engineers to help with the show back home.
