If we're supposed to help fight, why do we need a partner first? I'm sure I can handle one of those Kishin Eggs just fine on my own. The more of us that fight, the faster we can go home.

[It's pretty obvious he's never actually encountered a Kishin Egg before. But you can't blame him for trying, right?]

And if we really do need a partner why would that thing bring people here by themselves? How are we supposed to trust a stranger that much?

[He sighs. For just a split second, the anger is gone, and he just looks incredibly sad and lonely. But the irritated scowl is back in an instant, making one wonder if that other expression had really been there at all. He stares at the communicator for a moment, like there's something else he wants to say, but doesn't know how to say it. In the end he gives up though, and simply makes an annoyed grunt as he switches the device off.]

There's a couple of options: You can win the war for them, you can die or you can do nothing and hope that you'll be classified as useless by the thing that brought us here and hope that it sends you back.

None of them have been properly tested yet.

Conventional weapons don't work on Kishin Eggs. [Otherwise Train wouldn't have needed a partner.

I agree, it is a lot to ask of someone. However, it seems to be a necessity, if you wish to fight to the best you can here.

You need a partner because there's no other way a Kishin egg can be harmed besides an attack with a Weapon, as in the type of people that turn into one, and resonance. These two things can only be adequately wielded and used by a Meister so partnership is essential for survival if you're attacking a Kishin egg.

[ A brief sigh before she approaches the second question. ] Didn't they tell you this on the tour? As for your second question, BREW selects individuals at random. It doesn't bring groups together for whatever reason, though, it does sometimes select other people from your world to arrive with you.
