If anybody happens to be north of the Heights, I'd appreciate some help. I seem to have been caught in the earthquake that just occurred, so I could use somebody's assistance when convenient.

The earthquake took me by surprise, and I had a bad fall--I'm injured, but not severely. I'm in no danger of dying right now; there will be others who need more immediate attention than I do. I hardly have to ask this, but please see to it that they receive it.

[A sigh. She can tell he's teasing, but she can't deny that there's some truth in it.]

I know, unfortunately. With any luck, that won't have to be the case for long.
