[He's not really looking at his communicator. It's been abandoned on the floor beside him - he'd meant to record something-- but the moment he'd thought of something to say, he'd gotten side tracked.

With his shirt up, he's staring down at his stomach, pulling a face much like a childish pout.]

Oi, K'rama. It's about time ya talk t'me yanno? I ain't heard nothin' outta ya since we got here. We're both here, so you should at least lemme know what you think about this place.

[Cue a quick prod to the centre of his stomach-- He doesn't seem convinced though. As he shouldn't be. Kurama is not with him. He knows that much.]

That headband is the firs thing he'll notice, and-- you know actually take notice of it.]

Er-- Yeah.

I feel okay. Just-- er, a little weird.

Weird? Yeah, I can imagine.

[Coming back from the dead had been strange in it's own way, but definitely different than how Naruto could feel.]

Not having chakra and stuff, that takes getting used to. But you'll be fine.

.... [He peers at Naruto speculatively.] So, do you remember anything at all?

I guess-- everyone got here some time, like this I mean so... everyone knows how that feels, huh?

[He smiles though, despite the confusion-- and that drops away a moment later.]

From before? Nah. Never seen this place before.

Yeah, we all have to deal with it... [Kind of a pain, but, eh. At least they weren't alone in it.

Oh but look! There's a smile!... aaaaaand it's gone again. For a second, Obito could have sworn he saw some of his sensei in there.]

Hmm. That so...

[He offers another smile.] Then let me say welcome to Death City again! And... if you have any questions, you should probably ask Kakashi. Or Gai. Or Neji. [Not me.]

Yeah yeah, but it ain't a big deal right? Just need to train a whole bunch then we can all get outta here.

[There's the grin again, although-- perhaps a little more boyish than you're used to Obito.]

Ah-- Oh, this place! Yeah, thanks. Er, Maybe I'll ask Kakashi-sensei, yanno? Well, I heard Sai's here too.

[Because Gai and Neji, whut? No thanks.]

That's the right way to look at it.

[Definitely similar, though. It gives Obito a tight feeling in his chest.]

Oh yeah, you can always go to Sai, too! He's also staying with us!

[lol, Obito totally understands.]

Heh. 'Course it is. [He knows to think positive, it's all he's ever done since becoming a ninja. And-- if he knew you were thinking about his Dad, he'd still be thinking positively. Er, well maybe after a few hours trying to coax stories out of you, Obito~]

Oi, he is? Yeah yeah, I should come over! What're you doin' now?

[He could always ask about Minato and Obito would gladly spill all the details he had on his dear sensei~

But Obito is a little surprised by Naruto's forwardness. The previous time he had been here, Naruto hadn't taken much interest in Obito. Then again, Sasuke had been here to take up most of Naruto's time and effort.]

Oh! Yeah, sure! I'm... actually, I've got to go to work in a few hours, but I have time until then. I'm just hanging out at home with the dogs. [Someone has to watch them when Kakashi is on duty after all.]

[He's not sure he knows how to ask-- he'd been told by Kakashi that Obito used to be on his team, and he knows vaguely that his Dad was Kakashi's sensei but-- there's a link to be made there?!?!]

Er- You're workin'? What d'ya do? You reckon it's still okay t'come over?

[Perhaps they will never know~]

I just bus tables. [He shrugs.] It's pretty good pay for an easy job.

.... Yeah, why not? I mean, I don't have anything major to do until then.
