[He's not really looking at his communicator. It's been abandoned on the floor beside him - he'd meant to record something-- but the moment he'd thought of something to say, he'd gotten side tracked.

With his shirt up, he's staring down at his stomach, pulling a face much like a childish pout.]

Oi, K'rama. It's about time ya talk t'me yanno? I ain't heard nothin' outta ya since we got here. We're both here, so you should at least lemme know what you think about this place.

[Cue a quick prod to the centre of his stomach-- He doesn't seem convinced though. As he shouldn't be. Kurama is not with him. He knows that much.]

[Possibly best-- he'll probably lose some of that loudne-- okay, no nothing will change, but he might learn you're actually smart eventually.]

[It's mostly in response to that expression - because he's so used to looks like that.

He watches-- actually listens, and then--]

[Seeing the man's name appear on the screen makes him smile, and he clicks the button she'd pointed out.]

Oi! It worked. Er, I think?

Good job. *Well, that was getting somewhere. He could listen, even if it took a bit to get him there. She considered showing him how to access the other post types aside video but... Naruto didn't seem like the type to care about typing.*

Should I try to show you more thinks about posting, turning off the camera for voice only posts? Showing you how to enter text. ...Or should I just skip to the games?

*Obvious answer is obvious, but she might as well ask it. Plus the quicker they get done the quicker she could leave. Still one thing nagged at her mind. It wasn't her business, and it wasn't her problem but... the way his first video was, the way he sounded...*

So Kurama... is he a secret from Lee, Neji, and the others?

[He pouts at the praise, looking down at the screen in his hand and then up at her, totally unimpressed.]

Oi. Yeah-- I wanna know about the games and stuff.

[He'll just send you a glare still - for a while...]

Er-- What about him--? I mean it! It. What about my er-- stomach?

Right. *Clare smiles, she expected as much.*

This button here gets you to the Home Menu, it's on pretty much every screen you'll get on this thing. From there you pick this, other Applications, and then this, Games. There you have a list of games to pick from. *She made sure he was paying attention as she moved through the menus.*

You suck at lying. *Clare's statement was flat, like... she just wanted to get past this part. Although her curiosity and worry waned with Naruto's continued stubbornness.* You talked about him openly to Gai and Kakashi, but not with Lee. Is he something you're... ashamed of, or just a secret you're not ready to share?

Well, yeah.

[He leans in again, watching her go to this 'home menu' and then click other stuff, and suddenly there's a world of opportunity.

He's distracted then, so the statement makes him do a double take, looking to the screen, then back at her, until he realises the point she's trying to make and his mouth opens-- only to close again quickly.]

How d'you know?

*Clare casually moves through her menus, but casually for her is abnormally fast. Pulling up the videos of Naruto and Kakashi's conversation. All there on her mirror.*

I was checking to see if anyone else offered to help you with your mirror. Since I'm not the only one adept at using them. Everything you said to Gai and Kakashi can be seen by anyone on the network.

...I don't think most people bothered to watch everything, if that helps? *She's a bit quieter, maybe she shouldn't have asked.*

[It's a little too fast, he can't keep up - but then he can see his conversation on her screen, and that makes his eyes widen.]

Ah-- Whoa.

[He looks up at her then, and back to the screen before pursing his lips.]

Oh.

Reason I wanted to teach you how to filter messages. *Clare why are you feeling guilty about this?* It's not really my business, the talking to the thing that lived in your stomach, but if you're trying to keep it quiet don't broadcast it like that.

Whatever it is... your friends will probably get it. *Clare you haven no idea what the topic of this is, stop trying to help.*

[He spent a few more moments staring at her screen, before shoving his own devicey thingy in his pocket, sucking in a breath and folding his arms across his chest.]

Yeah well-- thanks for, yanno lettin' me know and stuff I--

[Well, he just didn't really want other people to know about it. Not really. It wasn't important, and here - it didn't even matter.]

*Clare got ready to go back home, but stopped.*

Oh, right, I was going to show you what we mean here by transform. *Clare smiled and held her right arm up, starting from her fingers her hand turned into a metal gauntlet, with a thick metal plate on the back of her forearm like a shield - but narrow, only her arm's width. Clothes too, at her elbow there was a seam where metal turned back into cloth.*

Partial transformation, and full transformation.

*Clare's entire body turned white a moment, and a shield replaced her sitting on the ground, it had an attached gauntlet, like her partial form. The main difference was the thick shield was full sized, as long as it was wide. Clare's face was reflected in the shield, this reflection showed just enough of her shoulders to say what she wasn't wearing in her spirit form.*

We don't mean any ninja tricks. This is just how weapons work here. Got it?

*The shield flashed like Clare's body did and she was back to herself, clothed and crouched on the ground. She stood up as if all of that were completely normal, casually dusting off her skirt.*

Heh, yeah.

[He nods, just about to look back down at his communication device again when she turns back to him, and with wide eyes he watches as she partially transforms.

It's not so much that she's changed, exactly. He's used henge, and other things enough to be used to not looking like he was supposed to, but for just her arm to change...?]

Whoa-- How'd you--

Whoa!

Cool! That's-- so, you're a weapon, huh!? Wow. That's cool!

*Well, Naruto was easily distracted by shiny objects. Clare's hardly surprised.*

Yup, partial transforming isn't as powerful, but I can move around without a Meister. But the main point is to find someone to use me in combat.

Everyone turns into a weapon pretty much the same way, just their form and what they can do is individual. I defend, others heal, create explosions, all sorts of powers out there.

Oh! I get it now! So, they like, actually use you! Man, I thought it was weird!

Whoa. That sounds so cool, dattebayo!

I need t'find a partner, right? Right. Okay.

*She can't exactly blame him for not getting the Weapon Meister thing, she didn't fully grasp it either because it was IMPOSSIBLE. At least to her narrow boring outlook on life. Also she looks confused over the dattebayo thing, is it like a verbal tic or something.*

It actually is really cool... *Clare seems reluctant, but there was something neat about being able to help kill monsters.*

*Naruto is really eager about everything, apparently.* Yeah, but it has to be someone you can work with. Partners work based on trust, if you don't trust them trying to work together might actually hurt one of you.

[Course not! It's stupidly confusing.]

Heh. I can't wait.

[And just to prove it, he takes to twisting himself, flexing his arms as he goes.]

Oh. Yeah, I'm kinda used to that, yanno? We have teams we go on missions with. Sounds like back home. Man! I can't wait!

We're gonna get them eggs 'an go home.

From what I know of your home, it is like that but the trust level is deeper since you and your partner are linked. Your thoughts and feelings impact them, and theirs you.

*Clare couldn't help but smile at how completely certain Naruto was. Making him the complete opposite of every other ninja she's met so far, amusingly some of them were complete opposites of each other too.*

But yes, let's get those eggs and get out of here... *That wasn't the most honest she's been, she's not sure if she wants to go home yet. Or at all. Naruto doesn't need to know that.*

... Oh.

[Actually, that sounded kinda complicated. It only makes him think about it a little harder, nodding once and looking back up again the moment she mentions the eggs again, giving her a thumbs up.]

Yeah! How long d'ya reckon it'll take to get enough of 'em?

*Clare had the strangest feeling she just confused Naruto. Oh well, he'll probably get it when he practices resonance with someone.*

No clue... *Clare sighed* there are a lot of Kishin causing trouble all over the world. But for a Weapon to reach full power I think we need to absorb 99 of them. If all the weapons here managed that we probably could do a lot of damage in this war. *Clare hoped.*

[Get used to that feeling.]

Er... Okay.

WHAT?! WHOA!? How many? 99! That's-- That's loads!

Yeah, it's a lot... and I've only gotten five so far. *Even if it was all from the same mission, it was still a drop in the bucket.*

Kinda intimidating, huh? All that work... *All those lost souls.*

... Five? Is that it?

[Sorry if you were expecting a different response.]

We can do it though! We gotta, right?! Work hard and stuff, then everyone can go back home.

...I'm not exactly from a world full of fighters, and I don't have a regular partner. I've left the city once so far.

*Geez, Naruto!*

...Right. *Why is your optimism so stupidly optimistic? She seems to accept this mindset, even if she's a bit hesitant.*

Ah-- Okay. I didn't know that, dattebayo.

[Still, he's totally setting himself a completely ridiculous target now.]

Yeah yeah. You goin' to trainin' and stuff?

Most people here are incredibly skilled fighters. I'm one of the few people from a peaceful world.

*Good luck with that...*

Probably going to soon, I usually train on my own but some things have to be done with others. *No matter how shy she is about morning training.*
