It isn't. Anise had gotten the notion stuck in her head and appears determined to convince not only myself but also others of it.

Ah, I see. It's really not right for her to throw that label around wildly -- being called a good parent is a honor, not a given.

I ought to mention that to her at some point.

My sentiments exactly. There is no meaning in referring to someone by such a title when they have done nothing to merit it.

Please do, though enlightening her on the matter may not be enough to get her to stop.
