[The feed opens to show a possibly somewhat familiar room, for those that may have seen Hanabi's room at some point. Then it shifts to show Hinata, it may be a little off and focus more on the room, but she's still learning. Her eyes and features may be even recognizable.]

Um, this... Hm. Oh! Um, I-I suppose it is working. [She does her best to smile. This is only slightly weird.]

I...I've seen others do this, so I figured...it might be best to as well. My name is Hyuuga Hinata, and I'm one of the...new arrivals, I suppose. A Weapon, if that is a bit more helpful. Um, though really... My cousin and younger sister are here, and have been a while. Neji and Hanabi. I-I know some of you probably know them, but um... [She worries her lower lip and looks away. This is harder than she thought, and she considers filtering it from them. But she didn't want them to find out she did that either.]

Um, I...I guess I just wanted to thank everyone...who have kept an eye on them. [She knows how difficult they can be at times.] So, um, thank you.

Yeah, I've been here since around the end of November. It's hard to believe it's only been a few months though.

Time moves both slowly and quickly... As strange as that may sound. But even still, it is still a long time to spend anywhere that isn't home.

Yeah, it really is. It took me a while to get used to living on my own, without either of my parents around.

You've...never spent any time away from home before coming here? I-I'm sorry, you don't have to answer if you don't want to.

[She's honestly curious. It's kind of a foreign concept to her.]

Well, okay, I have been on a few school trips before, but never for longer than a two or three days. And it was only once or twice.

I have stayed over at friends places before, but they're still in the same city, so that doesn't count.

That's... [strange, different, is what she wants to say, but then she feels different for even thinking that. She knew there were civilians here, but... The differences in experiences is still new.]

This must be very different then. You are doing well living on your own now, though?

... You're probably finding this weird, aren't you? I've heard a bit about your world from Tenten and Hanabi, so considering what happens there I can't really blame you.

But yeah, I'm doing pretty good. Have a decent job and everything.

N-no! Not at all. [She kind of is, but she'll never admit it. It's rude.] It's just...different. But in a good way.

*She just giggles a bit. You totally find it weird Hinata.*

So, how are you liking it here so far?

[And Hinata can only blush. She feels like she was found out.]

Um, so far I... It's a really nice city, and everyone is really nice so far.

Glad to hear that you're adjusting pretty well.

So, are you planning on helping to fight in this war we found ourselves thrown in?

[She nods. She didn't even have to think twice about it.]

Yes.. I'm hoping to. It may not exactly be our war, but still... To not help seems wrong. Um, do you...help out?

I know exactly what you mean there. And yeah, I do. I've been on a couple of missions.

Speaking of, I'm a meister myself. Still looking for a permanent partner though.

Ah, really? What were those missions like?

And I...I have been hearing that sometimes finding a partner is the hardest part. You have just been working with different people every time, then?

To be honest" A bit scary. First one was a major assault on a witches base, and the other one was to stop a Kishin egg that was eating people.

And yeah, first time with my brother, and the second one with Zidane.

Those do sound like scary missions. Eating people and...assaulting a base. Those sound rather dangerous, too. Were you successful with them?

Yeah, we were. Assaulting the base was a massive team effort though. And well... Kishin Eggs kinda do that to people. Any mission to take them out would involve them doing that.

I-I don't think anyone mentioned that part about Kishin Eggs.. But it is good to know.

And I would hope that it was a team effort. To send in just one pair would...it wouldn't have made sense.

Yeah... well, they really eat souls, but it's really the same thing. Just as messy as if they ate more than that...

... And yeah, that really wouldn't have made much sense if there was just one team for that one.

Souls..? Somehow, I am not all that surprised by that. Not with how important they seem to be here. Still that is a little...gross to think about.

No, it wouldn't.. But it is good to know that such mistakes aren't made here.

... It really is. Espeically since weapons here are supposed to eat Kishin Egg souls.

*Oh dear, maybe she should've avoided saying that. But oh well, it's too late now.*

I-I thought...they were just kidding about that. That just... It seems weird to think about eating another soul.

[She doesn't even know how she's going to do it when the time comes.]

... Yeah. I'm really glad I don't need to worry about that part.

But at least it's... well, at least you'd only be eating the evil corrupted ones?

[That...doesn't quite make her feel better. But it's the thought that counts!]

Mm, right... I-I guess it would mean one less...corrupted soul out there causing trouble.
