[The feed opens to show a possibly somewhat familiar room, for those that may have seen Hanabi's room at some point. Then it shifts to show Hinata, it may be a little off and focus more on the room, but she's still learning. Her eyes and features may be even recognizable.]

Um, this... Hm. Oh! Um, I-I suppose it is working. [She does her best to smile. This is only slightly weird.]

I...I've seen others do this, so I figured...it might be best to as well. My name is Hyuuga Hinata, and I'm one of the...new arrivals, I suppose. A Weapon, if that is a bit more helpful. Um, though really... My cousin and younger sister are here, and have been a while. Neji and Hanabi. I-I know some of you probably know them, but um... [She worries her lower lip and looks away. This is harder than she thought, and she considers filtering it from them. But she didn't want them to find out she did that either.]

Um, I...I guess I just wanted to thank everyone...who have kept an eye on them. [She knows how difficult they can be at times.] So, um, thank you.

[And now...that smile. She can normally take quite a bit, but she's much more used to disparaging words spoken with an almost calm detachment. Not...that patronizing tone or mocking smiles.]

Yes, I do... People change. Don't you think so, too?

I think no matter how hard people try, the most they can manage are surface changes. They cannot change the core of who they are, they cannot change what they are.

If they ever succeed it's only because they've deluded themselves into thinking that...or because no one has managed to prove them wrong.

Those who were born crawling in the dirt will never fly. That's simply how the world works.

[He sounds so much like her cousin a few years ago (and almost how he's acting now) that she can't really stop herself from frowning. What a sad view on life ):]

You can't honestly believe that...can you? Have you really known no one who...proved that wrong?

I wouldn't be saying it if I didn't. [As for being proved wrong...in some ways he was. But in the end he had snatched their victory from them when BREW brought him here, preventing his death while he had ensured the destruction of their world.
