[The feed opens to show a possibly somewhat familiar room, for those that may have seen Hanabi's room at some point. Then it shifts to show Hinata, it may be a little off and focus more on the room, but she's still learning. Her eyes and features may be even recognizable.]

Um, this... Hm. Oh! Um, I-I suppose it is working. [She does her best to smile. This is only slightly weird.]

I...I've seen others do this, so I figured...it might be best to as well. My name is Hyuuga Hinata, and I'm one of the...new arrivals, I suppose. A Weapon, if that is a bit more helpful. Um, though really... My cousin and younger sister are here, and have been a while. Neji and Hanabi. I-I know some of you probably know them, but um... [She worries her lower lip and looks away. This is harder than she thought, and she considers filtering it from them. But she didn't want them to find out she did that either.]

Um, I...I guess I just wanted to thank everyone...who have kept an eye on them. [She knows how difficult they can be at times.] So, um, thank you.

You said that you're a Weapon as well, right? Do you already know what kind?

Um, yes... I don't know what yet. To be honest, I am not too sure how to find out what kind. Do you know..? What kind you are?

I'm a specific kind of sword that imitates the skills I have under normal circumstances. It's usually a helpful rule of thumb that one's Weapon form tends to be either something that you feel comfortable using a lot or something that goes along well with your own skills. A swordsman being a sword, for example.

As for how to find it, I fear that the answer to that one varies from person to person and it's NOT tossing yourself down some stairs unless you think that you are immune to the resulting injuries from doing something like that. They offer help on how to do it at the daily morning training, if you're interested.

...Has someone actually done that? Thrown themself down stairs? [Because that is totally the most important part to focus on.]

Um, but I will look into that at morning training. The help they offer there, that is. Thank you, for all the information, too. Your form sounds very useful.

Some have. [He smiles and grimaces at the same time. And doesn't point out that he shoved his own brother down the stairs when he had asked him for help about learning how to transform.

He smiles more brightly at her compliment.]

Thanks! I think that all forms are useful in their own ways, but it's still something one likes hearing. Finding the right person to wield you tends to be the trickier part.

That seems...so extreme. [Oh wow. She was kind of hoping he was kidding about that.]

You're very welcome. And, um, yes... That did sound like the hardest part. And something that takes a while to happen, too.

It is. I think the meditation idea would be more appealing to them, but on the other hand, there are also always cases who believe those make out rumors.

[She nods along. Yep, meditation sounds like a great idea! More people should try that instead of tossing themselves down stairs or making out.

Oh, you know~ [He smirks because she clearly doesn't if her reaction is anything to go by.] The ones saying that you can improve your resonance by kissing your partner or by doing even more than that.

[Excuse her, she is just...dying over on her end. She's almost frozen in place, blushing far too darkly for it to be healthy.]

That-- How-- Why would any...anyone make those...those rumors?

[He shrugs his shoulders, still looking amused.]

They were probably trying to trick somebody who would actually believe such a thing and ever since it became a running joke. [He sighs.] I think even my own partner was tempted to try it once. We put a quick end on that one, though. It's bad enough that he wields me next to all kind of strange things because he likes to dual-wind... That color suits you well, by the way.

[Slowly starting to calm down and not hyperventilate herself into a faint.]

That... It doesn't seem like a good thing to joke about though. An-and for your partner to want to...try it. Especially if he already wields you...with strange objects.

[No wait. Blushing darkly again at that sort of compliment?]

An-and, um... Thanks, I-I guess?

[He laughs.]

You're welcome! It's really less of a problem then it sounds, all you need to do is to smack whoever approaches you about it over the head. There seem to be more Meisters than Weapons here so you're the one who has what they want.

[Hinata? Hitting someone outside of training or battle? Pfft.]

Um, I-I hope it...won't come to that. But I will keep that...method in mind. I, um, hadn't noticed that there were more Meisters, but I also haven't been looking too closely.

[Hey, it's the silent and nice ones that you have to watch out for as far as he knows! ;)]

Ah, it's not very obvious. I only noticed it because I kept an eye open during the morning training and the like.

Hm... I'll have to check that out during morning training as well. I suppose it's not all that surprising though.

You think so? Most seem to assume that there is an even ratio of Meisters and Weapons.

I-I don't quite think so.. While it would be nice, nothing ever quite works out that evenly. Unless it is very much on purpose.

That's true. [He agrees with an expression that is wearily amused.] Nothing ever works out that nicely.

Do you have experience with things like this? Fighting?

But it would be nice, though...if it did. Some things would be easier.

[She pauses for a moment to consider how to answer...]

Um, yes. I'm a...ninja. I've been training for years. Um, what about you? Do you have experience as well?

For years... That's very impressive. I'm a demon of the fighter class. I have been trained to be a warrior my whole live although I have only recently started to get any real experience.

That's impressive, too.. It takes quite a bit to keep training and learning, especially when it comes to fighting. And, um, if the training was good, then...combat experience shouldn't be too different.

It's not that bad. [His tone turns a bit more subdued.] But nothing you do can prepare you for a civil war.

Well, I guess that's the point of having one.

[Her tone almost matches his at the mention of war. That's some of her freshest memories.]

No...nothing ever prepares anyone for war. Except for war, I suppose.

Yes. But that can wait for a little bit longer while we get you settled here, right? Just leave the worrying to others for a while, getting tossing into this is already enough for a chore.
