[The feed opens to show a possibly somewhat familiar room, for those that may have seen Hanabi's room at some point. Then it shifts to show Hinata, it may be a little off and focus more on the room, but she's still learning. Her eyes and features may be even recognizable.]

Um, this... Hm. Oh! Um, I-I suppose it is working. [She does her best to smile. This is only slightly weird.]

I...I've seen others do this, so I figured...it might be best to as well. My name is Hyuuga Hinata, and I'm one of the...new arrivals, I suppose. A Weapon, if that is a bit more helpful. Um, though really... My cousin and younger sister are here, and have been a while. Neji and Hanabi. I-I know some of you probably know them, but um... [She worries her lower lip and looks away. This is harder than she thought, and she considers filtering it from them. But she didn't want them to find out she did that either.]

Um, I...I guess I just wanted to thank everyone...who have kept an eye on them. [She knows how difficult they can be at times.] So, um, thank you.

Tenten's smile lessens in intensity, but it's still there as Hinata hanks her. ]

Good. It took a lot of convincing to make her stay home for the day. I'm sure with you here, she'll agree to your orders.

I-I hope it doesn't come to that, though... But I'll do my best. [She doesn't like ordering anyone around. Especially not her sister.]

But truly, thank you, Tenten-san. For looking out for her. I-I hope it didn't happen often.

[Yes, that is her way of not!prying at someone who seems willing to tell her things.]

All right, Hinata. If you need a stern partner in crime, I'm your girl! [ TENTEN GIVES THE ORDERS AND HINATA STANDS THERE AND LOOKS REGAL. ]

She only got sick once. Other than that she's been tough. Did I tell you how she joined the watch?

[ Tenten is nosy enough to oblige and give the deets. ]

[YES. Best partner in crime ever!

She laughs.] All right. I-I will definitely keep that in mind if I ever need any help.

And, um, no.. No one has told me that yet. But... If you don't mind sharing it, then I-I would like to hear it.

Good.

[ She pauses. ]

And, uh, well, really that's it. She joined the local police force despite some initial doubting. She's been kicking ass and taking care of bad guys ever since.

[She smiles a little brighter, maybe even a little proud. Oh, who's she kidding. Of course she's proud to hear that about Hanabi!]

I suppose...they only doubted because of her age. She... She is really capable. I'd be surprised if she did anything less.

[ Tenten's smile brightens too. ]

Yeah. They probably doubted her because she's a soon to be woman too. Not everyone expects us ladies to be tough enough to walk the walk. [ She agrees with every statement made about Hanabi thus far and it shows in her expression! ]

That is just to our advantage, then. Sometimes...it's good to be underestimated. [She'll never admit it, but it does make victory that much sweeter, too.]

But I am still really glad she is showing them differently. If anyone can, it would be Hanabi.

Yeah. You can get a lot of things done when no one is looking at you. [ She'll agree with that hidden sentiment. ]

She's quite a determined little girl. I'm impressed with your sister, Hinata.

She's always been very determined...and she tries her best to do her best. I'm sure she'd be so glad to hear that, too.

Tell her for me, okay? It'll mean more if it comes from you. Especially since you've been absent from her life while she's here.

Are you sure? Because I...I think she'd like to hear it from you, too.

I think she'll need it from you more though. You're her older sister and the future head of the family!

Um, maybe.. But I think...she needs to hear it from other people, too. So she won't feel like I am just saying it.

[Yes. Yes, it's so believable. Like Hinata can even say what she wants half the time.]

I think so, too.. She needs to hear that she's doing good more often, I think.

How often does she get praise? [ It doesn't seem like it's very often. ]

Uh. [All Hyuuga are in dire need of praise and love.]

Um, I-I don't think it's said to her often.. But shown. [In small smiles, approving nods. Yeah.]

Is it shown in ways she can comprehend and tangibly feel or express? [ Like hugs. Or chocolate. ]

I think so..? It's not...difficult to tell the difference between approval and...disappointment with our father.

I can't say I've ever seen your father pleased. [ Tenten only thinks he has one facial expression, but she knows Hinata knows more about him than she does. ]
