[The feed opens to show a possibly somewhat familiar room, for those that may have seen Hanabi's room at some point. Then it shifts to show Hinata, it may be a little off and focus more on the room, but she's still learning. Her eyes and features may be even recognizable.]

Um, this... Hm. Oh! Um, I-I suppose it is working. [She does her best to smile. This is only slightly weird.]

I...I've seen others do this, so I figured...it might be best to as well. My name is Hyuuga Hinata, and I'm one of the...new arrivals, I suppose. A Weapon, if that is a bit more helpful. Um, though really... My cousin and younger sister are here, and have been a while. Neji and Hanabi. I-I know some of you probably know them, but um... [She worries her lower lip and looks away. This is harder than she thought, and she considers filtering it from them. But she didn't want them to find out she did that either.]

Um, I...I guess I just wanted to thank everyone...who have kept an eye on them. [She knows how difficult they can be at times.] So, um, thank you.

Oh, really? [Well that was interesting to know... Just how many Deathscythes are there..?] I suppose that does make sense...instead of keeping you all in one place.

Shinigami rooted his soul to this school, so he couldn't travel freely. We acted as his representatives, and as deterrents against the enemy within our respective areas.

That sounds as if...a very important job. [And how sad (but oh so noble!) of Shinigami.] But also a very necessary one, if he couldn't leave.

It's been like that for hundreds of years... until recently, unfortunately. You attended the briefing when you arrived, yes?

We've lost the protection his soul has given the city. His son is attempting to succeed on that point, but we need him to be as mobile as the rest of us.

I see...that does cause some issues, then. Is there another way to have that protection other than him being unable to leave the city?

We are looking, although I doubt that we'll find any permanent solution. I believe that our best hope is to have all of you learn how to resist the madness wavelength as quickly as possible.

You are most likely right... Is there special training or, um, classes for it? [Because she doesn't quite remember if anyone mentioned anything about that.]

[reluctantly] We've been organizing exercises where guests might try exposing themselves to a bit of the madness wavelength to see how they handle it. As for classes, they are understandably more focused on theory and practice of indirect means of defending against it.

Right...it does make sense to focus more on the indirect means in classes. [Because, yeah, that could go wrong. But still...]

But it's good that...there are chances for actual experience. Having the knowledge is good, but...but actual chances to put it into function would be best.

You will experience it soon enough, once you start going on missions. But before that, you could ask your cousin and your sister for advice, perhaps.

Oh, right... I could. [And they would really give her the best answers they could.] I-I guess I'll just have to wait until then..

To take missions, you mean? [headtilt] If you're as skilled as they are, you shouldn't have any trouble finding a partner to go with you.
