[He passed the night in the clinic, on a cot--because he had broken a bone, and had been otherwise banged up, a doctor had wanted to "keep him overnight for observation". It made him vaguely uneasy for reasons he could not recall--but he acceded to it, and was preparing to leave the clinic as early as possible in the morning, pulling a shirt over his head but not quite covering the cold-pack bandage over his ribs yet when Orihime arrived.]

ACTION--and oh god the irony of fanservice since I just tagged you in a meme. |D

[True to her word, Orihime arrived to the clinic early in the morning. Not too early but decent enough. She even made him a few pastries- keeping mind to not make them too weird...She knew her tastes were rather questionable.

She looks around curiously for the familiar mop of hair. Orihime finally spots him and approaches the Warrior of Light.]

Good Morning~

[She speaks cheerfully, a bright smile on her lips. Orihime holds out the small basket of treats.]

I'm here to help and um..I made treats too! I wasn't sure what flavor you would like so I made a few different pastries.

ACTION (oh god I apologize for late)

Ah-- [He finishes pulling the shirt on and turns fully towards her.]

Thank you, for your kindness. [He peers into the basket, then takes it slightly awkwardly, like he isn't used to receiving gifts.] Pastries?

[She sets the pastries aside, rolling up her sleeves as she looks curiously as him.]

Yup! I made you pastries, they are very good I promise. Um, where are you hurt?
