The dates are starting to line up again, so me may end up having newcomers from BREW in the near future. Might be a good idea to watch out for that.

...Of course, it also means that there may be even more disappearances than the ones we've had over the past few days. Those two usually go hand in hand.

I've talked with Shibusen and a few of you about this already, so I think it's time to bring the idea up to everyone.

Recent events have made our numbers dwindle lower than they have in a while, and I'm not comfortable with constantly waiting for BREW to bring in people who could be interested in joining us, or on the folks who are already here to come around quickly. As such, in order to focus the resources that we have at hand and make sure that everyone isn't overworked, I'm planning on ceasing all Watch activity in Outer Residential Quarter III, and Zones 1 and 4 in the Outer Quarter of Death City.

I am aware, of course, that a number of you will be affected by this move. As such, I want to hear how you feel about this, where you'd like to be transferred, and who you're more comfortable working under among our current set of Zone Leaders. You're free, of course, to approach me in my office or send a message to me in private with your responses.

Anyone who's violently opposed to this move is more than welcome to talk to me about it. Know, though, that it's not an idea that sits very well with me either. Still: the last thing I want is that we're unprepared for another attack on the city, or for whatever else might happen to us from here on. Hard decisions need to be made if we're truly going to do everything that we can to protect this place, and each other.

If this move does take place, that means that Zone Leaders Neji Hyuuga and Lain Iwakura may need to take command of your area. How do all of you feel about this?

[Well judging by the frowning and silence, he's not happy with the move, but that's not his call]

In that case, you may want to consider placing operatives outside the city. Lain and I are exceptionally well-suited to scouting and it may be best for us to be placed on the city's border to watch for incoming threats.

Shibusen has scouts, however that did the city little good last time we had an invasion. It was only fortune that I detected the attack before the city was brought under siege.

And by this suggestion, I take it that you are interested in volunteering for this?

Of most everyone I'm aware of, we have the smallest chance of being found and killed before we can relay vital information to the proper channels. With our zone decommissioned, it seems like an obvious choice for us.

I need you to take command of one of the other zones, though. We're down two pairs, even with the decommissioned areas. We'd be down three if I kept them active.
