[Hey, look! It's that Obito Uchiha kid! He's been hiding his face since Gai and Kakashi disappeared, save for the times he left the apartment for work, but now he is in a pickle and calling out to Death City.

He's sitting on the veranda of the condo he used to share with his old teammate and his rival. Poor kid looks pale, like he hasn't gone out in the sun in a while. At least today is bright and sunny. Along with his orange goggles he's wearing a headband with a very distinctive design that he hasn't worn in a long time.

Still not quite looking at the camera, he starts to speak.]

So... [Obito clears his throat] It turns out Fatality Condominiums is a little expensive to pay for on your own. My lease is gonna run out in a few days, too.

I guess I need a new place to stay, but... I don't really want to live alone. So, guess what I mean to say is... Anyone looking for a new roommate?

You could stay with Keroro and me.

[Their apartment was big enough given that it was meant for two adults and not a thirteen year old and a two-feet tall alien.]

[Obito is a little surprised for such a quick offer, but he's genuinely happy it's Eve and Keroro offering.]

That... sounds nice, actually. [He smiles slightly.] Sure you don't mind?

[He was a friend, and Keroro tells her that she's always supposed to help her friends.]

I don't mind. [She pauses.] But I'll have to ask Keroro, first. [Though she doesn't really expect him to say no. After all, no matter how much he complains about Da Vinci he's yet to to kick the cat to the curb.]

Ah, yeah, check with him first. I think... I'd really like to stay with you two, though.

[He chuckles.] I've met Keroro once before. He seems like an interesting roommate to have. And you're a nice person, too, so it could be fun! Living together, I mean.

You're a nice person too. And you'll be living with Da Vinci too.

[He almost taken aback by that. He didn't really have much of an opinion of himself, but it was nice to hear others thought he was nice.]

[At the second part, Eve stands up without another word and moves to another part of the room. The camera points towards the ceiling for a moment when Eve crouches down and reaches for something.

Half a minute later, the feed rights itself and Obito will see Eve dragging what appears to be a really fat (and actually pretty ugly) cat into her lap. It didn't look very pleased.]

This is Da Vinci.

[Lee peers into the screen curiously. At the sight of the cat, he stops and blinks. Suddenly he's reminded he is still holding onto Itachi's bird...]

Ah, it's... a cat. I like cats. [He chuckles nervously.]

I... don't suppose there's a room he's not allowed in, though...

He's not allowed in Keroro's room. They don't really get along.

Ah, I see. That works then.

See, I kinda have a bird I'm taking care of for my little cousin. Yuufun isn't any trouble, so I hope you don't mind if I bring him.

What kind of bird is Yuufun?

He's a starling from a place called "Africa" or something. He's little and stays in his cage. Yuu isn't really a bird you can pick up and handle... but his chirps are pretty.

[Obito gave him a not very nice name, considering how nice the bird is, but Obito wasn't a very happy person when he got around to naming it. Learning that your cousin may have killed your entire family off kind of dampens the spirits a bit.]

[He sounds lovely. Hopefully Da Vinci won't try to eat him or anything...]

Does his name mean anything?

Ah, that...

[Obito is almost ashamed to answer. It's... not very nice.]

[He hasn't learned his lesson from that time they adopted Eve's huge cat.]

[He just stays in his cage, after all. Maybe this one will be easier on Keroro.]

[It's the pecking order that's the problem. Currently it's: Eve, Da Vinci and Keroro at the very bottom.]
