First, I'd like to inform everyone that Morning Training will resume tomorrow morning. I apologize for the inconveniences that arose, but both Lee and I feel as though it was the best course of action given the situation. While the current circumstances aren't ideal and the civilians still aren't entirely complacent, those that may find themselves concerned about the field's security can be assured that there will be a temporary increase in security to maintain the safety of the Guests that attend. Thank you for your patience.

Secondly, there's the matter of city security. The riots have been quelled now that the organizing force has been taken in for questioning. For those that aided the Watch in working to contain the city's unrest, we're very grateful for the assistance. It's unfortunate that we've suffered so many losses lately that we couldn't operate quite as effectively as usual, but with Shibusen's agents and Guest volunteers, we were able to manage. I'll hope a few of you may consider taking an official shift in the near future.

And for those in the Watch that took extra shifts and lost sleep stretching themselves to cover for those we most recently lost, you can relax now.

That said, I know all of you have been keeping demanding schedules lately and it isn't quite necessary any longer. You're free to return to your normal shifts, though if any of you would like to keep up your current assignments for any reason, please let me know. I'm grateful for everyone's diligence and cooperation in the midst of the chaos.

Filter- Watch

[A breath, and the topic he's been building up to finally arrives]

As I'm sure everyone has noticed, BREW seems to have taken a few more of our key personnel- Yuri Petrov, Tassadar, and of course, Sarah Kerrigan. With their disappearances, our structure is wavering. This is why I feel a bit of an overhaul is now neccessary.

As Sarah Kerrigan's unofficial second, I'm prepared to take command of the Watch. I may not look it, but I have some years of squad leader experience in my world, and having been with this organization for 8 months and a Zone Lead for somewhat less, I know how it's supposed to function. Barring significant protest, I'm looking to do the following...

Zone Leaders.

Only myself, Lee, and Auron currently remain. We can't handle six districts on our own, so I'm looking for volunteers. Requirements include familiarity with the Watch- or at the least, a month of active operation. I'd prefer Zone Leaders were at least 16 years of age, and have some field and leadership experience, but while those factors will be taken into consideration, they aren't immediately disqualifying. Partners are not required as they have been in the past. While pairs will take prior consideration, we simply don't have enough of them at the moment.

Remember, Zone Leaders coordinate those patrols in their district and report directly to headquarters. They do not typically take up daily patrols on their own, but are expected to be available on a consistent basis, keep their district in order, and fill in for any absent shifts when needed. Don't worry, basic training will be granted to those new to Zone Leadership.

If you aren't chosen for Zone Leadership or don't meet all the requirements, I'm also looking to promote some Deputy Zone Leaders. These deputies act as second-in-commands for their Zone Leaders. In the absence of the primary leads, whether on missions or returned by BREW, deputies will step up to take command of a district. In this fashion, a district isn't likely to be without direction. Deputies still take on a patrol shift, report directly to their Zone Leaders, and work to learn how to manage a district.

Requirements include some familiarity with the Watch and experience on the field with a preference for diplomacy and management skills.

That's not good.

No, BREW took two more of our Zone Leaders recently.. However, I've spoken with Kotetsu and Aqua, and they'll be taking their own districts. I've received a third volunteer as well, which is heartening. He'll likely need some training, but that won't be much of an issue.

Well that's a little better.

Also...if you want my candid opinion, if you were anyone but you, I would be very hesitant to have you leading the Watch. But you come from that world of ninjas that Guy talked about. They train you early to do what you have to do so...glad to have you leading. Anyone gives you grief, let me know.

Might as well ask if I can be your second in case BREW decides to take you back.

I appreciate it. I wouldn't volunteer if I wasn't certain I could handle it.

[But the offer is somewhat unexpected, and Neji blinks, then smiles faintly]

I'd be honored. I'm sure you have considerable experience on your own that will be valuable, as well. I have another Second in mind for the near future as well, should he be amenable. In this way, the command structure should be solid should BREW prove particularly difficult.

*Auron chuckles* That's a polite way of saying I'm so old I have to have that much experience. But you'd be right.

Any time you want to start training me and whoever else you have, I'm ready.

[Amusement at that] In our world, shinobi don't have a long life expectancy, so those that reach a mature age are often well-respected for their skill.

At any rate, I'll keep you informed. For the time being, I need to settle into everything myself.

I probably don't have as much skill as an old shinobi but I think I have some.

I should probably think about getting a deputy. Things have been so crazed that I haven't really given anyone that job.

I'm certain of that.

As for your Zone, it looks as though Tsunashi Takuto is fully willing to work as your deputy.

Sure, he can be my deputy. Poor kid.

He seemed rather enthusiastic about it.

[Neji will be over here, quietly amused] Train him well, Auron-san.

He's...kind of adopted me. I guess I'm the go-to adult if he has questions. We'll see if he still likes me after he starts working for me.

I see. Sounds like he'll be learning a new side of you.

Hopefully it's not a side that's going to make him quit the Watch.

That would be unfortunate, but he's not well-suited to Zone Leadership if that's enough to intimidate him.

I'll shape him up as best I can so he will be a leader in his own right.
