Greetings everyone. I know the past couple of days have been harrowing on many, and I hope the victims and those who participated in the rescue effort has had a chance to recuperate. I also would like to thank and commend those who helped.

However, although this was a success on our part, I'd like to inform and remind everyone that the situation around the city is still tense. Unfortunately, while we did apprehend all the kidnappers that were there, the masterminds behind the operation are still at large. Rest assured that those currently confined will be properly and thoroughly investigated, but you still need to remain vigilant for further suspicious activity.

In addition, the tunnels that were used in the kidnapping operation are being cleared out. Once all traps have been cleared and preliminary investigation has been done, everyone will have a chance to conduct their own searches and investigation as well. The preliminary investigation is only so there is little risk of important evidence being tainted or loss once the tunnels open.

And finally, we are still trying to find the lost possessions. If you have yet to receive your replacement communicator, please stop by Shibusen to acquire a new one.

A few belongings that likely would help aid in escaping, but that seemed to be all. Such personal effects will be returned when they are located. I imagined they were stored somewhere.

Very likely. It makes sense overall: Prisoners can't call for help and can't escape either.

No need to apologize. We had ample number of individuals who were ready to help and although they were annoyances—[ie, traps. ...and it being in the sewers, ew :|]—it went off well.

Still poor choice in timing that I was away when it happened. Nothing to be done about it though.

For now just keep an eye out for any suspicious gatherings or points of high unrest.

Nothing outside of the usual mission reports. [Which he always ensures are heavily detailed.] However, Holiday and I will be leaving for another one in Guam tomorrow morning. I'll be sure to contact you if anything in particular sticks out.
