Greetings everyone. Several have been asking about BREW and it has been decided to allow all of the guests an opportunity to see and approach the Demon Tool.

[he's personally not so keen about it since past events, but it was better this way. it would allay some fears and give opportunity for others to ask questions.]

It will occur tomorrow afternoon at two o'clock in the Shibusen gymnasium and will be open until four. After that, I will be returning it to its proper and secured place. The next time it will be available has not been determined and I make no guarantees that another viewing will happen. Therefore, if you are curious then this will be your only chance.

I will be repeating this tomorrow, but there are a few things I'd like to tell everyone to keep in mind. You will be able to approach and touch it, but I highly advise that no one try to attack or damage it. Not only will you do nothing to BREW, but you can gravely injure yourself or your Weapon.

Security will be in place and I will also be personally overseeing and standing by BREW. Needless to say, no one should try to steal it, but if anyone tries—[eyes narrow.]—I will not hesitate to shoot you down myself.

Handguns are much easier to use than an ungainly weapon like a scythe. I have no idea how you do it.

Ungainly? You're exaggerating. I got the hang of it in no time at all.

Maka, it is a long-arm weapon with a giant curved blade at the end of it.

Hm. I suppose. And it was my father's weapon of choice so there's some merit in that as well.

I will say it's different from the close range combat you normally use. Because it's such a large weapon, it does require a larger range in movements.

That will definitely take a lot of readjusting, especially if I have to use my martial arts mid-battle. [hm.]

I'll figure something out.

But it's just for emergency use only, so as long as I know how to at least properly fight it should be all right.

You're experienced, so it shouldn't give you too much trouble!

Right. It's basically a matter of figuring out how to use the weapon to your advantage... Swinging it, of course, takes a careful balance of both swiftness and strength; it's easy to be sluggish with a larger weapon, so you'll need to be able to act quickly with it.

You're probably going to have let me watch you train with Soul a few times. Seeing it done may be easier.

Sure, that might work better. In this case, it's probably easier to see it than to have it explained to you.
