Good afternoon, Death City...!

[Fabiola's settled onto one of the swings in the park, and is rocking back and forth as she waves at the screen. It's likely disorienting as all get-out, but she... probably doesn't know that. Damn 90s kids and their lack of webcam etiquette. She stops swinging when she starts to talk though, so that's good, right?]

As it seems to be a month for asking questions, I was wondering- there are plenty of residents here that would be considered Aliens- that is, extraterrestrials, from other planets and the like. Would some of you mind terribly telling me about the places where you are from? I am- [kind of a sci-fi nerd--]- quite interested in learning about what kind of civilizations occur on other planets.

[She rocks back and forth slightly again, and then taps her chin with a gloved finger, thinking.]

And on an unrelated note- does anyone know anything about painting murals? Or taking care of chickens? The two are quite unrelated, but I thought if anything, someone who knows something about either of them might know catch sight of this.

[Seriously, there is a ninja chicken overtaking a corner of her living room, DC. Help.]

I suppose that might be for the best, really.

Display? Oh no- well, not really, I mean. It is for my partner. We were going to try and paint a mural of his home together.

Even if it's intended for a single person, a mural is difficult to entirely keep away from others; it's not a piece of art that can be shoved away into a closet. That was my point, truly.

Well, I do not believe Bumblebee has a closet, regardless... [Being a giant robot and all.] Though I suppose if he has company they will likely see it.

In any case, it doesn't sound as though it's a concern for you, having your art be seen.

...your partner is a bumblebee?

[malandragem]

No, not really.

[A pause, and she blinks- then laughs.]

No- that is his name- my partner is a robot, actually.

[trageteas]

Ah, I see. [He's not sure what else to say for a moment; pairing with a robot seems rather unappealing and unexpected.]

That's an unusual name for a robot, although I'm sure he's more useful than an insect.

[malandragem]

[You just don't know Bee, Jules. It's okay, it's not your fault you don't know he's awesome.]

It rather is, I suppose- though Bumblebee is an exemplary partner to have, in my somewhat biased opinion.

The logistics of it all seem... difficult to work out. Which of you is the Meister?

[malandragem]

Difficult? How so? Though I suppose if it helps, I am the Meister and he is the weapon.

[trageteas]

As I understand it, robots don't have the same bodies as humans, and that can include being a different shape or size.

...hence why I thought it would only be doable if he were able to change himself to make things easier for you.

[malandragem]

Oh, well that does make sense- though there is not much need to worry about on that front. Bumblebee's weapon form changes size to suit the meister, I believe.

BREW thinks of everything, doesn't it? In certain situations; I don't want to give it too much credit.

[Which is to say that he's sort of jealous that his own form isn't so useful, and also just hates BREW in general.]

Then again, I'm not sure how it happens that our weapon forms come about.

It does have its moments, certainly. Though considering the rest of the time...

[She's not too keen on giving BREW too much credit either.]

I would guess based on someone's personality- or perhaps weapons or objects that they are familiar with.

[trageteas]

It seems as though it would be so logical, but in practice I'm not sure. I never thought to ask anybody else about it... someone who's truly a warrior might know better.

To be honest, I do not think even someone with experience would be able to explain some of the more... unconventional items that people become.
