second trick | Feb 28, late afternoon | video
[From the looks of it, Loki is at the top of Shibusen's stairs. He's sitting cross-legged on the ground in front of the propped-up mirror, and there is an empty DeathRobbins cup sitting next to him at the edge of the shot.
The Madness wavelength really shook him. He's spent most of today thinking about Things, totally blowing off his job to wander around the park and climb up to the top of the city. Loki is visibly subdued, far from his usual chipper self. Although the ice cream did help a little. He'd heard it might.]
People of Death City...will you tell me of your families?

People of Death City...will you tell me of your families?
[Voice]
"I'm just a child". Or something.
[Voice]
It is a difficult thing to live in the shadow of your family. My father is one of the greatest warriors my world has ever known. While I am proud -- very proud -- to be his son, I will never be as strong in battle as he. To tell you the truth, I'm not good at battle at all. I don't think I'll ever be the warrior he would have me be.

[Voice]
[He doesn't get much respect for it, though. It's seen as dishonorable. It's trickery.]
Do you have such a skill?
[Voice]
[Voice]
[Voice]
[It's still not good enough, though.
[Voice]
And are you pursuing the same studies as your mother?
[Voice]
My Mama was a Wall Street stockbroker. In other words, she made a lot of money for rich people, and after she married Papa, she built him his fortune. I could do that, but I don't think I want to; I think I could do more. [her father doesn't seem to agree]
[Voice]
What do you enjoy doing?
[Voice]
Though it doesn't matter, I guess. [apocalypse and all, it's not like she'll be getting a job any time soon. Or finish her studies for that matter.]
[Voice]
[What an odd thing to say.]
[Voice]
[Voice]
[Voice]
Apocalypse happened.
Re: [Voice]
...that would put a damper on that sort of thing, yes.
