I must commend you on the make of these communicators. You've clearly made an effort not to forget anything.

Your emergency notification system is quite impressive. As I recall, there is a button as well as the option to write it on this screen, correct? [He pauses for a moment, his demeanor not changing any.] However, I am blind as you can see. In a dire situation, either option could prove very difficult for me to say the least. Is there another means to activate it? Or would you prefer that I perish?

If you're unable to find a way to defend yourself or push a simple button then I imagine you wouldn't be of much use in a wartime situation anyway.

Of course it doesn't. But with the only viable options in this situation, someone with a short temper could find it offensive, for example.

Who would find it offensive enough to get you a blind-friendly thing immediately? On the inverse, you just risk angering the whole. If you asked kindly, you'd definitely see an improvement. Shibusen tries its best to accomodate all of its residents.

No, I was escorted to safety earlier and given this communicator, albeit too late for it to be useful in this weather.

Of course. [qilby does a good job of sounding relieved. le pause.] Contrary to the... Impression some of my fellows are giving, most of the people in the city are quite enthusiastic about helping someone in need. [heroes, the lot of them. it's kind of sickening.]

Chances are some hero will be around to swoop down and save the day, regardless of whether or not you're able to pull off the SOS in the first place. [the wry smile's evident in his voice.] But speaking as someone with a handicap of his own, I'd suggest the best option is simply to try and avoid situations in which that'd even be a concern.
