And Witches are women who can use magic, but in this world, those who use magic are affectec by what's called the Sway of Magic which drives them to use their magic and because a lot of Witches use magic that's offensive by nature they're often driven to cause destruction.

Kishin Eggs are humans who have consumed the souls of innocents and turned into monsters themselves.

[He listens to her speak, making sure to pay close attention, since he ended up missing so much on the tour. But unfortunately, the more she speaks, the more questions he ends up having. At least until the last part, then he just kind of looks horrified.]

Souls are a source of power here. [Which is similar in some ways to how it was back home. Though in many ways it was also different.

...like how the Weapons gain power by eating Kishin Egg souls, for one.]

By consuming a corrupted soul a Weapon can become stronger but an innocent soul will have greater effect but at the price of turning the person consuming it into a Kishin Egg.
