I have a question for those that have been here for a considerable amount of time: Just how frequently does BREW bring in new faces?

[ he doesn't really have a clue, considering he's only been around for two cycles of them. ]

Other than this, I have been reading up on a few things regarding human culture. Actually, I was looking for something to perhaps encourage more park visitors, and thus I began reading about different times of events. Presently, I'm open to a few ideas, if anyone feels like providing them.

[Some of the frustration comes back, when Psii thinks how difficult even most normal of things will be. Eating, sleeping, even this hobbling trip to a nearby human food dispensary: all should be so easy as to be second nature, and are not.

But what good does it do? There are better things that I can be doing with that energy. Being upset and raising my fist to the world doesn't change anything.

That's the answer I would like to give, but I'm not that strong. The only thing that offsets this slowly burning resentment is the fact you are all here with me now. As long as the rest of you are with me... When there's still hope for a better future with these young ones... I feel at peace.

[Dryly, but there's both truth and gratitude in it, and Psii's holding back a little smile at the hair-ruffle. He wondered at home, too, how SS put up with him. He reaches for the door himself now, and tugs it open.]

[Psii finds a seating cubicle in a corner, where he can sit with his back to the wall. Is just like SS to still be taking care of his family, even in world that is strange and different.

He's glad last comment drew a laugh. Worries has lost knack of interacting with other trolls.]

[ his eyes follow his best friend, to note where the seat is. soup is on the menu, and it's going to be kept simple *cough*chickennoodle*cough* for them both. Signless isn't about to eat any different than his friend. that'd be like gloating. not to mention it also shows that it's safe to eat.

soon enough, he takes his order number and goes to their seats. it's water that he brings with him, setting down the plastic cups with a slight grin. ]

They'll bring it out to us. Now go on and have some water.

[Psii sniffs at the cup, then takes a taste of the water with just the tip of his tongue. Smells and tastes like nothing.

He glances at SS to make sure that was within the parameters of acceptable behavior.

Remembers he doesn't have to do that anymore, and not with SS, never with SS, and takes a little sip. Cold, tasteless. Good.]

Was reading network, before saw your post. How many trolls are here?

Yes, I am. You can also meet Sollux any time you want to come over. Karkat patrols the town regularly enough. It's the others that might be a little more difficult to get a hold of.

[Psii watches SS's actions, and mimics them. Why exhaling on nutritional input, though? Is it human custom? Once he takes a bite, he forgets this oddness.
