[Today finds Fabiola perched somewhere high, and taking a well-deserved day off from her usual activities. She raises the hand holding a thermos- coffee, because she considers herself too mature a girl for something like hot chocolate- to the camera, and then takes a sip of her coffee, preparing herself to speak. She's not as long-winded as usual today, though perhaps it's for the best, considering what she wants to ask.]

I know a lot of people have left lately, and I know some of those here are better at handling it than others. So in the interest of helping those that do not take it as well as others...

[She shifts idly, peering over her hands at the ground below and scooting backward just a little.]

How do you make yourselves feel better, Death City? What do you do in order to keep pushing forward?

[Oh- well this is a pleasant surprise... in a manner of speaking, at least. Fabiola offers as comforting a smile as she can manage, leaning back on one hand and looking off briefly toward the rest of the city.]

I understand what you mean- it can be difficult to continue on, but it does not necessarily mean that you cannot miss them or grieve for them in the meantime. What matters is not letting it stop you, yes?

Indeed, Ms. Iglesias, that is exactly what one needs to do. Life goes on, despite how horrid it might seem, and BREW always replaces everyone that goes with someone else at its whim.

All we have to do is try to adapt as quickly as is possible.

[What he doesn't state is how great a task that is in and of itself.]

Adapting is somewhat essential to survival, as evolution would say. But that does not mean it will be easy.

Hopefully, however, I can make it less difficult.
