[Today finds Fabiola perched somewhere high, and taking a well-deserved day off from her usual activities. She raises the hand holding a thermos- coffee, because she considers herself too mature a girl for something like hot chocolate- to the camera, and then takes a sip of her coffee, preparing herself to speak. She's not as long-winded as usual today, though perhaps it's for the best, considering what she wants to ask.]

I know a lot of people have left lately, and I know some of those here are better at handling it than others. So in the interest of helping those that do not take it as well as others...

[She shifts idly, peering over her hands at the ground below and scooting backward just a little.]

How do you make yourselves feel better, Death City? What do you do in order to keep pushing forward?

That is probably a good idea- any distraction is more than likely a good on, at this point.

I agree. Even if it only gets their mind off of things for a little while.

Even if only for a little while, it is better than them staying focused on the bad things.

Hmmm... Would you like to come with us, if we plan an outing? I have been meaning to introduce the two of you.

Are you sure your friend would not mind me coming along?

I will make sure she does not, but I do not believe so.


...however, in the event she does, you and I should plan an afternoon out regardless.

[Bee loves bonding time with Fabi!] Alright. I would like to spend time with you regardless of what the case may be.

[Speaking of bonding! Bee is interested in a mission.] There is another matter I would like to speak with you on, if you have the time.

[They are ridiculous, and it is awesome.]

Of course the feeling is quite mutual.

[She perks a little and blinks owlishly, smiling.]

There is a mission in Carson City. The locals have been picking up strange frequencies. They would like someone to investigate it. While not the most exciting mission, I think it is something we could accomplish easily.

Oh, a mission...!

[She gives a little bounce in place- and as soon as she realizes she's done it, she coughs and tries to act composed.]

That sounds like it should be simple enough. Would you like to leave for it soon?

[He's glad that she is so excited by the thought of taking a mission!]

That is up to you. I am ready to take the mission whenever you are.

[One of the things that will make Fabiola act her age without realizing it is excitement.]

How does Monday sound? I will let the rest of the Watch know I will be gone.

Monday will work. I wasn't sure if I should ask about us taking a mission or not, given the situation with your friend.

No, it is alright. Honestly, I think a break from my hovering might do some good.

Alright. Be sure to get a lot of rest. We should be prepared for anything.

[She giggles.]

I will. Is there anything I should pick up for you?

[A pause, thinking-]

Oh, though there is one more thing I had wanted to ask...

...the place you live now- would there perhaps be room for one or two more?

I live inside of a warehouse. It is spacious. There is a raised floor inside of it that could be converted into a living space for you and another person. [He turns on the video feed and shows her the area. It looks a little something like this.]

[Hmmm... that'd probably need a bit of fixing up, but...]

Oh, yes- that could certainly work... Um. If you would not mind, that is.

I wouldn't mind at all. But are you sure you and your friend wouldn't mind staying here? It could take a little time to convert the space for you two.

[ooc: Fff. The Investigation missions have to be played out. Would you like to play it out or take one that we don't have to play out? I'm cool with doing either.]

I do not mind- I am quite patient when I need to be. Besides, if nothing else, it gives me something else to work on when I am out of work.
