Your glorious machine BREW has something of a glitch. In my world we sought to destroy and enslave the pathetic human race. Why would it assume I had any reason to fight for it now? And don’t answer ‘because it’s the only way to get home’, because that’s a load of slag.

Intentionally, or unintentionally? It would depend, and if he were to also have the goal of enslaving or destroying humanity, they were doing so to protect themselves.

I know I would rather fight and use whatever means were at my disposal if my own liberty were to have been at stake.
