[ So the feed turns on sometime early this morning, with Tsubaki peering looking down at the communicator with a small smile. ]

It feels like it's been such a long time since we've been home - even though it hasn't really -

[ An obnoxiously loud voice interrupts her then, and the view from the communicator shifts to show Black☆Star way up on top of one of the spikes on Shibusen's building. ]

HELLO, DEATH CITY! No need to be scared or sad or worried anymore, 'cause your God has returned from kickin' kishin egg ass! Betcha missed me, huh, all you tiny stars?

[ Placing his hands on his hips, he continues yelling down at the surrounding areas. ] Any of ya got strong enough to think you can actually beat the big and great Black☆Star? THINK AGAIN, HYAHAHA-

[ The laugh cuts off when suddenly the spike he's been standing on breaks, sending Black☆Star plummeting toward the ground. He really should learn not to do this since this isn't the first time it's happened...

And back to Tsubaki, looking alarmed, and then ... just... sighing sheepishly. ]

Kid-kun? We're back.

[ Ooc: Both Tsubaki and Black☆Star will be responding, natch :D ]

[ PRAY FOR A MIRACLE Tsubaki - but despite that initial hesitation, she obediently *pom*s into weapon form for her Meister. ]

[With Tsubaki in kusarigama form at present, he leaps back a few steps so he's dead center of ~~his stage~~ the area]

Yeah, don't use "little" if you're talking about someone as big as me. It doesn't make sense, y'know?

[Keep praying, Tsubaki. Meanwhile Black☆Star's just keeping a look out for the oncoming Kid, not looking worried in the slightest]

yes, yes, the logical and better path to take is to just stop this insanity, but well. he was committed to this and THE SIGHT OF THE BROKEN SPIKE COMING UP AHEAD KIND OF ONLY HELPED ENCOURAGE HIM.

so he doesn't respond back. he just continues to fly forward, in fact putting in a burst of speed as he approached as he could see that stupid ninja there standing there waiting.

[ Tsubaki really really doesn't want this to happen. Really. In fact she can't even bring herself to say anything to her Meister, let it be words of encouragement or a cautionary, 'don't be so cocky and pay attention' or something. She's not happy okay. Come on, really, they need something to distract Kid. Chuck Norris? Batman? ... ... Ronald McDonald? ]

[Black☆Star can feel the unhappiness from his partner but, well, this isn't the first time she's disapproved of things he's done initially and really when does he listen, so...

He's just standing there, right below the spike he broke, in front of that skull, you know the one that may or may not have gotten hit in the process? Yeah, that one.

Bending his knees and raising his arms in a fighting stance, he grins, catching sight of Kid finally. He uses one hand to make a beckoning gesture.

[Liz sighs.]

Great. Just great. No way this will end badly. No, sir.

[Patti laughs.]

[and ignoring his weapons, he just jumps down from his skateboard upon reaching where Black☆Star stood waiting, immediately getting into stance.]

Just don't get too upset when I beat ya. [And he readies himself, eyes narrowing, keen on making a move but needing that perfect moment for him to shine his brightest]

[He manages to laugh before he sees Kid moving forward, and then he slides one foot back, bracing himself as he gets ready to block whatever physical attack may come, or dodge if he has to.

Better watch for the counterattack after!!]

[random selection says that first move will be...punch. of some kind. yeah he has guns in his hands but he also knows that the resonance with his weapons weren't exactly great. somehow he still manages to keep a tactical mindset.

but the punch is a feint!! how about some close range GUNFIRE.
