[returning to text for this -- trolls seem to prefer it anyway, and he can't be sure about the other one just yet.]

I intend on participating in the coming mission, alone if I must. Before that, however, there are some people I would like to have a word with.

I've been considering it, but I haven't asked any of the Meisters I usually work with yet.

If you do not find anyone, then you should remain in the city where it is safer.

Yes, I got him from the shelter around Christmas. He's a black Newfoundland and his name is Kerberos. He's a sweetheart.

I see. It is good to have a constant companion in an unfamiliar place like this, even if just a pet.

It's kind of you to offer, but it really isn't a huge thing. I'm just living across from somebody who I know from my world.

And about ten minutes later, he died in my arms.
