I intend on participating in the coming mission, alone if I must. Before that, however, there are some people I would like to have a word with.

Participating in a mission without a Partner.

The head of Shibusen seems to be allowing it for this mission. Animals infected by this Madness do not require a Weapon with resonation to be killed, and so there is a way for even unpartnered individuals to help. It may not be much, but I will do what I can for the place and the people here.

Still...are you sure you don't want to find a partner, just to be sure? It never hurts to be careful.

I intend on finding a partner eventually, yes. But from everything that I have heard, resonating with a partner is based on a number of aspects, trust being a significant factor. Man does not open up to others so easily, in my experience, and I would not want to put another person at risk with unsure resonation because I rushed to find a partner in time.

The madness will not affect me terribly, I believe, and I will be restricted to fighting the lesser threats. Even alone, I do not think the danger is so great that I should not help.

It's sort of oversimplifying it, isn't it? Everybody's different, so you can't know how long or quickly it will take you to find somebody you're comfortable with. And you don't have to make a decision five minutes before leaving, but there'ds no harm in trying with one or two people, is there?

I would rather not have any sort of pressure contaminating the process. Even if I am content to simply try a bit of resonation, another may be looking only to have a partner in time for the fight and so push too hard too quickly. I am willing to try working with anyone, but it seems like a relationship best left to develop organically.

And no, I am fairly new here, so I have not yet experienced it myself. But I have reason to believe that I will be fine.

Well, to each their own, I suppose. I guess I shouldn't really be talking; I haven't had many problems Resonating unless the Meister was physically hurt, but that's probably luck of the draw on my part. I haven't set up a permanent partnership either, and I've been here for months.

Please don't underestimate it. It's something you really don't want to surprised by, I assure you.

Never mind the fact that Cas wasn't technically a "man," but there probably weren't a whole hell of a lot of people that went by "Castiel" around here. And it wasn't exactly like Cas made friends all that easily.]

[Oh. Hey. Dean knows this kid. Still doesn't mean he's going to let the fact that someone's looking for Cas go. He'd liked Kaworu well enough when they'd met, but that didn't necessarily mean shit.

So even though his expression softens slightly when he first sees the boy, it's quickly replaced with a frown.]

Kaworu, right? What do you want with him?

[Because he didn't answer the question the first time. Maybe this time around it'll actually sink in and Dean can decide what he's going to do about it.]

I assume you found him, then. I am glad. [but if he doesn't actually answer soon then dean will probably get angry, so he simply adopts an innocent expression and shrugs.] Nothing you have cause to worry about, of course. I am just curious about some things and I wanted to speak with him.

Yeah. I found him. [And even though Dean isn't exactly "angry" yet, he is still irritable and suspicious of Kaworu's intentions. He folds his arms over his chest and levels a Look at the boy.]
