No, more related to speed of speaking. Clear enough, and faster. They did something stupid. Twice. Put safeguards in effect to prevent the second happening. Promptly forgot. They are fond of doing very stupid things.

But animals do very stupid things too.

Then it is acting upon stimuli, and if it trusts you, it would do so. It likely would not be happy, as it would attribute the act to pain. It learned. Humans learn, and forget, and make the same mistakes, with the same results, even if it has been done and documented.

Even if some of them do...there are those that evolve and grow, becoming different than what they once were, you know.
