10th transformation; video; March 23, morning

[The first thing people see won't be a face, but a quick sketch of what appears to be some kind of ball with buttons. After a moment, it's taken away to be replaced by an image of Eve's face.]

Does anyone know if a holster can be made something like this? It can't accidentally press the other buttons, but I still have to be able to press one.

[A pause. Then...]

And is it normal for Weapon abilities to change?

And I would hang it on a belt, I guess?

[She's not really sure about this sort of stuff. She'd never needed one before.]

I...guess? That'd be most convenient. What is that thing anyway?

It's the Kero-Ball.

[That answers nothing, Eve.]

I guess that counts as an answer. But what does it do?

[She brought the picture up and pointed at one of the buttons.]

If I press this one, Keroro can create objects out of thin air. [Then the picture is gone again.] He says the other ones do different things back home, but here they don't do anything useful.

Hmm...so it's not an ordinary weapon, huh... [ Well, that explained why it didn't matter if the other buttons were pressed. ] Yeah, I think a holster fitting the shape can be made for it. It's be pretty simple, as far as I can tell.

That's good. I've never done anything like this before, so I was worried it might be difficult.

Yeah, making stuff for the first time can be hard. I used to have to make sheathes for my sword when I was a kid, since I couldn't buy one.

You're a swordsman?

Yeah. Though, here I am the sword. I know how to use axes and spears too. Never liked spears, though, not my style, so I abandoned that.

Oh. That's a lot of weapons you know how to use. [Eve's knowledge of weapons pretty much ends at 'attack the enemy with the pointy/bladed part'.]

Yeah, it kind of comes with being a knight. We're trained in all of those. I just prefer using a sword. I've been using that ever since I was a kid. [ Around 12 years, that would be. ]

I guess it's not normal to be able to use all of those. Most people stick to one.

[She thought about it.]

Is it better to stick to one?

Hmm. Usually. Makes sense, since it'd give you time to concentrate on getting stronger with one. But sometimes it's fun to switch it up too, you know? [ Getting bored halfway in a fight was no fun. ]

You sound like you're seriously thinking about it.

Circumstances back home meant that specializing in one thing wouldn't work for me. [And she's not convinced it was good for here too, given Keroro's ability, but...Train was really strong, and he only used one weapon.]

Well, I knew a guy back home who could use a sword and a bow. He typically stuck to just shooting arrows though. [ He thought for a moment, before continuing. ]

What exactly do you use?

Whatever works in the situation.

Because I could freely transform my body I never really stuck to one kind of weapon.

[ ...Transform? ]

So that was your power or something? Kind of like what we can do here as weapons, huh?

[She tilted her head a little.]

...yes. You could call it that. Even though it's not one anyone can just learn.

Unique to just you. Guess that gives you a little more variety than me when it comes to weapon experience.

[Variety was her greatest advantage, really. But...]

I don't really know how to use most of the weapons I've tried, though.

Hmm. Well, I can only really help with swords or axes. But with all the different weapons here, it probably wouldn't be hard to find people ask if you had specific questions, right?

I guess not.

Maybe I'll ask around next time I go to morning training...
