I would very much like to hear of your first-hand accounts, if any8ody is willing to share them.

It was cold, and the weather was unrelenting, seemingly fueled by the prominence of the Madness Wavelength. Lee and I took down two distorted wolves and a Kishin Egg before we were forced to rest at the medic camp. Fortunately, we managed to escape significant injury, though we were unable to progress much further.

Now, when you say the weather was fueled 8y madness... what exactly does that entail?

Madness seems to affect everything.. humans, animals, even the environment.. We were travelling through a blizzard that seemed to worsen as we stepped closer to the location of the emitter. Naturally, the madness wavelength grew stronger along the way. That's what it means.

I was wondering a8out that. It's manifestation and a8ility to effect and consume the life in the caverns during the last operation would suggest that it's a8ilities extend 8eyond effecting just humans and weapons.
This is one more piece to the puzzle that provides us with a 8etter understanding of the extent to which this war has escalated.
And to that end I thank you for you account.

I am a doctor that went along to assist with the wounded. I was not there to witness all that occurred beyond that, but I can say that many were taken care of.

If you don't mind, I'd 8e curious to hear what the specific cases were.
Which is to say, the frequency of specific injuries and the treatments used.
I 8elieve so long as no names are stated, this would not 8e a 8reach of confidentiality.

I do not mind. The majority of the cases come down to the conditions we were in. As it was very cold and some are not used to the weather, many would suffer from an inability to cope with it. To treat something like that, we kept people out of the cold and they were given blankets and warm food or drink if their condition would allow for it.

For cases like frostbite, if there would have been any, we would have been more thorough and focusing on keeping it from getting any worse.

Other injuries would be from their battles with the Kishin Eggs and whatever else happened to be up there. These could ranges from minor cuts and bruises to more serious conditions such as severe bleeding on the outside or internally. Those have a wide range of treatments.

We could hardly see anything in front of us, due to the snow, and had to climb up the mountain. Me and Sendo found a snowmobile, but- a[wellp] it broke down. [it was Saya's fault]

Not stranded. After the snowmobile broke down, we stood in that area fighting off mutated animals and kishin eggs.

After, we just had to walk down the mountain. Down is always easier.

I do admit the snow was a step-back, at first, but we managed. Even after the small avalanche.

Did every8ody keep warm? The loss of heat can 8e potentially more threatening than any attack that the enemy utilizes.

I think so, everyone at least made sure of that before they went up the mountain. Unless there were some idiots who quickly rushed away before everyone else, but in that case they're idiots and fully deserve being turned into ice popcicles.

I stayed with the medic tents so I know very little of what happened at the frontlines, but there were a lot of cold-related injuries, as to be expected from a mission under freezing conditions.

Not too much. We were prepared, and it helped that there were a couple of doctors with the newest arrivals.
