[kuriboh_boy]

[The screen flickers on and Judai sits there blinking at the camera, a small smile on his face.] I’ve been thinking about starting a blog ever since I left Duel Academy. [His comment sounds idle and a hint of exhaustion creeps into his voice towards the end of the sentence. A moment later, he's all smiles though, shaking the camera a little.]

Hey! So, I'm new here! I guess... that's a thing that happens, huh? [He laughs and rubs the back of his neck.] My name's Judai! It's nice to meet you all! Or, I mean, it would be if you were... y'know... here instead of... [He gestures vaguely.] On the other side of a network I think??

[Judai pauses for a moment here and then eagerly reaches off screen, pulling his hand back into view with a deck of cards a moment later.] So I was think that maybe somebody might wanna duel me? It'd really be great! I love taking on new challengers, and since you're all new... [He trails off and his smile falters for a moment before he hitches it right back on.]

So yeah! Hit me up if you wanna duel! I can meet up with you wherever! Uh, so long as you tell me where I'm going. [With a snicker, he winks at the camera.] See ya soon!

[Keeping right on track for a collision Juudai. Good job. Atem looks anything but amused by his antics but he continues to guard his sentiments.]

Merely being acquainted in your time does not give you the liberty to entertain such presumptions...

[That's was hardly even the point but he can't let it slide.]

[Wait, okay, that has him looking really confused.]

Huh? But we are friends! We've dueled and we've even saved the world together! [He sounds very enthusiastic now.] I mean, I guess you don't remember it, but I do! And I'll still think of you as my friend even if you don't realize why.

[Wow, that was a little deep for you, Judai. Good job.]

[pregames]

[Ugh where has he heard this before. Replace the word friend with partner and they'd be all set. Kids these days.]

You know it is rather selfish of you to decide that all on your own.

[Alright it's not like he's trying to be particularly off putting, he just wants to make it clear where they stand.]

But I suppose if you don't expect anything on my behalf, we will be fine.

[kuriboh_boy]

[Judai looks a little hurt for a moment, but he perks right back up.]

Alright, I won't expect anything. [He grins.] But, y'know, we did say our bonds would last forever. I think you'll see it if we get to know each other a little better!

[pregames]

[Atem just shakes his head, though not in denial.]

We shall see.

[kuriboh_boy]

I guess we will! [Judai continues to smile for a moment before glancing away a little.]

Um, so... Nameless Pharaoh-san... Do you duel?? [He feels like he hasn't actually found that out yet, and what if he doesn't duel?? aaaah!!]

[pregames]

[Eugh he's still not entirely sure how he feels about that but it's better to move on for now...]

That depends. If you are referring to duel monsters then I am hardly in possession of a deck. [You know, being from Egypt, a few millennia before they had those things.]

[kuriboh_boy]

Yeah, that's what I was talking about... [He taps his chin thoughtfully.] But I guess... also... that game they have here! You mentioned it earlier! [Eager again] Do you play that?

And I decided that one of these days he's going to steal the deck from Yuugi

[pregames]

I do. Seeing as you were only just made aware of it, I presume you will need a deck yourself? [And no he's not helping you.]

Yeah! But it's okay, Bakura's helping me out. He said he'd get me a deck. And maybe I'll get to help design some of the cards like I made my Neo-Spacians! [Excite]

[pregames]

[Heh.] Well, when you are prepared, I'll take you on.

[And that's a promise, because hey, a duel is a duel.]

[He looks positively delighted at those words.]

You bet! I can't wait to duel you aga-- [Stops himself and gives an awkward recovery phrase instead.] Duel... you... for the first time! [Nailed it.]
