[The screen flickers on and Judai sits there blinking at the camera, a small smile on his face.] I’ve been thinking about starting a blog ever since I left Duel Academy. [His comment sounds idle and a hint of exhaustion creeps into his voice towards the end of the sentence. A moment later, he's all smiles though, shaking the camera a little.]

Hey! So, I'm new here! I guess... that's a thing that happens, huh? [He laughs and rubs the back of his neck.] My name's Judai! It's nice to meet you all! Or, I mean, it would be if you were... y'know... here instead of... [He gestures vaguely.] On the other side of a network I think??

[Judai pauses for a moment here and then eagerly reaches off screen, pulling his hand back into view with a deck of cards a moment later.] So I was think that maybe somebody might wanna duel me? It'd really be great! I love taking on new challengers, and since you're all new... [He trails off and his smile falters for a moment before he hitches it right back on.]

So yeah! Hit me up if you wanna duel! I can meet up with you wherever! Uh, so long as you tell me where I'm going. [With a snicker, he winks at the camera.] See ya soon!

Nice to meet you, Juudai-kun! I'm Bakura Ryou. [[smiles warmly]] Good to see someone else who knows the game showed up here!

[Oh good! Maybe this was someone who'd want to duel with him! Judai starts to respond, but then he proceeds to do a double-take at Ryou.]

W-wait! You're... Bakura Ryou? [A grin spreads across Judai's face.] Wow! I never thought I'd... You were in Battle City with Yugi-san, right??

[[Wait what?]] Aaaa... [[He scratches at his cheek a little. Battle City was kinda a blur...]] S-- sort of...

[[It's one of those very very rare occasions where he wished that the parasite in his Ring were able to just take over like he always did to take care of the situation.]]

Huh? Not really, no... [He pauses for a moment.] Though there was that one time I dueled a tiger and we got to punch each other every turn! That was great!

[How disappointing. Oh well. Like he would expect anything less? He did here about this card game from that Yami guy though...]

You dueled with a tiger then? Huh...well that sounds better than a plain old card game! What other kinds of things do you get to fight?

[Johan's just going through his communicator, still trying to get the hang of everything, just minding his own business when-

Wait, is that...?!

He nearly drops his freakin' device in excitement, before trying to fiddle around with it in order to respond.]

Judai! JUDAI!! Am I doing this right...? Hey, it's me! [He grins excitedly at the screen!]

[Now, if there was anyone Judai had been expecting to see here in this strange new world, it was most definitely not his best friend. It was almost too perfect, and he Judai can't help but grin like a freaking idiot when he sees Johan's face.]

...Johan!!! You're here too?? Where are you?! How long have you been here???

[The familiar face is so comforting that it actually aches and Judai's having a hard time breathing and talking at the same time right now, oops.]

I was just going to ask you that!! [Oh my god I don't think Johan will ever stop beaming ever.] I, uh, just got here, actually! And I'm in some apartment building? Ahh, where are you! I want to come see you right away!

[Judai laughs and scratches his cheek a little sheepishly.]

Well, I guess you're right... Ah! Nice to meet you! [He grins.] If you're looking to duel someone new, you've come to the right place! I'll take on all challengers! [Snicker.]

[ She can't help but laugh at that. ] So what kind of fighting style do you prefer?

[Oh hey he recognizes those cards as the kind Yuugi and Bakura brought from their world. He'll just be peering closely, giving them far more attention than the boy actually holding them. Seems there was more coming in all the time.]

You may have a hard time finding opponents for that game in this world... [Although he has no doubts that one or two of them will be getting to you] ...but a similar one exists here if you'd care to try something new.

[Judai doesn't really realize who's on the screen to begin with. Mostly because he doesn't look exactly how Judai remembers.]

Yeah, I think some people just want me to fight them... but that's okay! Oh, there's another game here? What's it like?

[He stops then and blinks.]

Wait... you're... Y-Yugi-san?? [Squinting, he peers closer.] Or... no... the other Yugi-san? [Now you're getting a huge smile.] H-hi!! [Awkward waves omg.]

It's not to the death usually! It's just for fun! And it's with cards, see? [He's learned that he needs to specifically show the cards to a lot of people here, so he waves them in front of the camera.
