1st Performance ♬ video; 26th April
[Yesterday, she hadn't been in much of a mind to really explore the DEMISE network save for picking up on Kanji's message.
Today, she's had a little time to calm down, to take in what Kanji and Naoto had told her and now she figures it's time she tries to branch out so she's not relying on them for everything. Which means time to break her silence - and she never has minded putting on a performance, even if this is less performance and more teenage girl wanting to meet people.]
Hey. So, I figured if we're all in this war thing together I should probably introduce myself, let you guys get to know me a little and all. I mean, we are a team...maybe a pretty big team but even so, it's better if we're comfortable with each other, right? So: My name's Rise Kujikawa and I'm from a town called Inaba in Japan. If you guys know Kanji-kun or Naoto-kun, that's the same Inaba they're from.
Anyway, I'm sixteen and before I landed here I was in talks to restart my idol career. Which, for anyone who doesn't know means I sing and dance and do ad work and, well, pretty much whatever really. Or I did. And would like to again but, well. I guess this war kinda got in the way of that, huh?
Oh and before anyone asks, Kanji-kun and Naoto-kun explained this place to me yesterday when I got here. I'm still trying to make sense of a lot of it but I think I have that part under control. I just figured it would be a good idea to talk to people, have something else to think about. I mean, we are all in this together, right?

So you will not prove it then? How typical. Why would I want to speak to any of your friends here when I hardly believe a word you are saying to me now? I don't care who they are.
[He shook his head before turning to look over his shoulder.]
So what...am I supposed to do now? Just accept that I don't have anything anymore? Are all of you just willing to accept that you suddenly have nothing here and nothing else better to do then just...DIE for a stupid cause?
[If his voice was becoming shaky then he had no idea of it himself. He was clutching the communicator and his teeth were clenching.]
[Her frustration has seen her move past temper now and to a point where she's getting a little upset by it]
If you really want to know, why don't you go talk to someone who's actually been here longer than a day instead of taking it all out on me? I don't want to be here any more than you do, but you don't see me yelling at people for no real reason!
For somebody that hasn't been here for a day, you certainly speak to me as if you know everything that is going on. Now you're telling me I need to speak with somebody else that has been here longer?
[He chuckled though. He did enjoy it when people got so upset with him. He might still feel that growing agitation at the situation. Still he smiled. He might have heard a version of what she was likely going to say, but he wanted to hear it from her.]
So you don't like yelling? How about you get to explaining how it is we're supposed to fight without weapons. I'm assuming your friends told you as much.
[But she's done trying to be helpful to someone who doesn't want to hear it and her arms cross over herself, the closest she can get to turning away from him while still responding]
What's the point? You're not going to believe me anyway whatever I say. And I've got enough to deal with without putting up with you any more than I have to.
[And she's still wrapping her head around how it all works herself]
[Not that he would believe still that he was in some other world. The most out there he was used to was whatever the Celestials were up to in their own little worlds among other things. He could play nice though if he needed to.]
Who knows? The more I hear, the more I might actually have to accept it. Come on. Let's hear what else there is. You are not the only one trying to make sense of this. Isn't it a little expected for people like me to have difficulty trying to figure out something like this?
[Though even then, there was a growing anxiety threatening to spill over.]
[At the start, she might have been inclined to try anyway, but she's still too new herself to really be able to sympathise with the being new and lost thing. Even if she has an advantage because of the TV world]
[If he wanted to, he could continue to voice his displeasure. That would get him nowhere here though. Trying to get an answer out of somebody he was not there in person with was frustrating. It was normally not himself that forced answers out of anybody.]
Oh and you mentioned you were a singer. Since I imagine the entertainment here will be lacking, I want to hear you sometime.
[She's not sure he'll think so, given his high standards so far, but she'll leave that for him to discover on his own.
Though he does earn just a few points back for wanting to hear her sing, even if she's not sure that's an option open to her here.]
Well then I guess we'll both just have to wait and see how that goes.
[Even if this conversation was making him inch closer and closer to a breakdown, he was going to hold it back until he got those answers he now so desperately wanted.]
Where are my manners though? Clair Leonelli. That's my name. It is only fair that I give you mine since you told everybody yours.
[Though she's surprised he's introduced himself. Okay, she'd done that first but with the way conversation had gone, she hadn't expected him to give his name]
Oh. Um, thanks. I hope you managed to get everything figured out.
[And she does mean that. Abrasive or not, being lost in a new place was never fun]
Oh I'll figure it all out. I'm going now. Enjoy your journey of discovery here.
[He chuckled before the feed cut off.]
