[This evening finds Cupid on her couch again, a box settling into view in the corner of the feed while she makes herself comfortable.]

Wow, okay so- shopping for other people? Totally exhausting.

[As she speaks, she opens up the pastry box in front of her and withdraws a ridiculously decadent-looking cupcake, leaning back on her sofa and crossing her legs primly.]

Feels excellent helping them bring their wardrobe up to speed from whatever the last fashion era they got stuck in was, though.

[Not to mention she gets to dress people up all day. Score!]

But I've been thinking- since I got here, really- that helping people out with their issues might be why I'm here. Soooo...

What would everyone think of a little matchmaking? For people looking for Partners as well as people looking for romance- since really, they're both about compatibility to one degree or another. I'd have to make up some forms and stuff, of course, but I figured I should throw it out there, and see what everyone thinks...!

On top of that- would anyone be interested in an advice broadcast? I figure it'd be possible to broadcast over the network maybe once a week- folks can mail in questions for me to answer on-air, or just call in and ask live! What do you say? Good ideas or no?

[Though really, she'll probably wind up doing them regardless. She sits up a little straighter after a moment's pause though, and leans forward.]

Well, I used to do the show back at school during lunch- I figure doing it once a week here can't be that hard.

Nah. Just gotta tell people where to send those letters all anonymous-like and watch 'em roll in. Whole lotta people here got a lot to stew on but no way to wrap their head around 'em.

I'll probably set up an e-mail for those, and for applications too, if the matchmaking thing turns out to be something folks are interested in.

Same. For all the bitching about how Shibusen runs things, gettin' pissy doesn't end the war. We're supposed to work as a team, y'know?

I honestly don't understand why people don't trust their leadership more- I mean yeah, things probably aren't going like they'd imagined, but it's not like they can help that sometimes things just go wrong...

Right... [Let's get some filters on, shall we?]

I mean, I know Kid. Head honcho of the place. He's pretty strong n' serious when it comes to how things are run but... he's also pretty tired sometimes. His dad ran a tight ship, but after the Witches got him, everything dropped into his lap. I feel pretty bad for him, and I just bust my ass that much harder to try and help him out somehow, not be a slouch of a Meister, y'know?

If the whole city goes to hell, I know where I stand. Somethin' doesn't feel right, though. I feel like somethin' bad's winding up again... but I hope I'm wrong for once.

All I can tell anybody is to put their faith in Kid as the current Shinigami and do what y'can to change the minds of these anti-Shibusen people. Maybe they ain't gonna be placated with 'we're trying', but it's better than never givin' up an answer at all.

[The worry is evident in both her voice and her expression, and she twists her fingers nervously into the fabric of her skirt, leaning forward.]

That would be... awful- do you think maybe it should be brought up to someone? Just in case? I mean I know Mister Kid is probably really overworked already, but maybe someone else? It's no good if someone has suspicions and then we get caught off-guard, right?

The Witches're always messin' with people... but no. I dunno if it's them. They always come in, guns blazing, makin' a mess. They'd never start a fight they wouldn't rater jump into themselves, y'know?

...Man, I wish there was somebody behind it, someone that can be nailed n' made to pay for the shit they caused. But if there is, we're in the dark about it. I think they'd want some hard evidence.

So it's not their usual tactics, is what you're saying?

Well- if it is just people getting tired of the way things are going... then maybe there's something we can do as guests here to help out?

That's what SEES n' the Death City Fixers are tryin' to figure out. They're a couple'a volunteer groups here.

[Well, at least she won't be too surprised if and when it happens. ~~Nah, she's totally going to freak out.~~]

What do those groups do, exactly?

Death City Fixers is what's written on the package. They've been kickin' ass on gettin' the city cleaned up after the island crash and helpin' the construction workers with repairs. The DCF and SEES have been workin' together a lot lately on the city clean-up.

SEES offers their help when they can to the Agency, Watch, and Shibusen. We're pretty open-ended: Extra eyes, hands and ears wherever we're needed. This is the group I run alongside Naoto.

Oh, that's sweet of the Fixers folks then! Probably just the kind of thing that needs doing to fix things up between us guests and the actual residents, if you ask me.

And S.E.E.S. sounds pretty interesting too- honestly, it sounds like something we'd have at my school, just a group to help out where they can.

It was actually based off a school club one'a the original founders was in. One helluva school club, right?

Now that's a club. You guys need any more members? I'd like to help in my spare time, if I can.

Heh... We're always lookin' for members! We got an HQ next to the Triple A arcade. Last owner renovated the place recently, so it's pretty plush now. S'like a big blue lounge.

Oooo, sometimes it helps if you just ignore the song and focus on the arrows- believe me. I totally rock at those.
