♡ Call 002 [video, April 28, evening]
[This evening finds Cupid on her couch again, a box settling into view in the corner of the feed while she makes herself comfortable.]
Wow, okay so- shopping for other people? Totally exhausting.
[As she speaks, she opens up the pastry box in front of her and withdraws a ridiculously decadent-looking cupcake, leaning back on her sofa and crossing her legs primly.]
Feels excellent helping them bring their wardrobe up to speed from whatever the last fashion era they got stuck in was, though.
[Not to mention she gets to dress people up all day. Score!]
But I've been thinking- since I got here, really- that helping people out with their issues might be why I'm here. Soooo...
What would everyone think of a little matchmaking? For people looking for Partners as well as people looking for romance- since really, they're both about compatibility to one degree or another. I'd have to make up some forms and stuff, of course, but I figured I should throw it out there, and see what everyone thinks...!
On top of that- would anyone be interested in an advice broadcast? I figure it'd be possible to broadcast over the network maybe once a week- folks can mail in questions for me to answer on-air, or just call in and ask live! What do you say? Good ideas or no?
[Though really, she'll probably wind up doing them regardless. She sits up a little straighter after a moment's pause though, and leans forward.]
--oh, and before I forget... [She reaches into the box again and pulls out another cupcake.] Got something for you Jack!

Not really, actually- honestly, the whole big deal about the clothes and the day and time? Not as big a deal as you'd think. Really, all you need is enough time to make sure things are the way you like them, friends or family to act as witnesses, and of course, a priest of your religion of choice to perform the ceremony.
[A casual shrug, and she takes a small, ladylike bite of her cupcake. Chews, swallows, and continues-]
After that, anything you want to make a big deal out of is your choice. Like... what kind of food to serve, how many guests you'd like to have, what music to play at the reception- if you're having one- the ways to complicate a wedding are endless, but in the end, all that really matters is the people that are getting married and the people they want to be there with them.
That's very good to hear. A lot of those other details seemed a bit trifle but I didn't want to insult anyone with the possible exclusion of them.
I hear you- but believe me, weddings are terrifying even for people who understand them, so it's understandable that you're a little worried about it all. But really, when it comes to a real wedding, where the people involved are meant for each other? Every single thing could go wrong, and it would still be perfect so long as you marry the one you love.
Besides, I'm going to let you in on a secret that brides here learn- no matter what anyone else says... what the bride wants, the bride gets. Trust me, no one wants to anger a bride on her wedding day.

Nah, you strike me as the kind who'd be alright with a little trouble. A little though, not too much. Every ghoul's gotta have her standards though, so I don't think anyone could blame you.

And look at me, I haven't even introduced myself. My name is Disciple, and it is a purrleasure to meet you.
[It is looking like it, isn't it?]
Nice to meet you Disciple- love the purr, by the way. My friends call me Cupid!
