[This evening finds Cupid on her couch again, a box settling into view in the corner of the feed while she makes herself comfortable.]

Wow, okay so- shopping for other people? Totally exhausting.

[As she speaks, she opens up the pastry box in front of her and withdraws a ridiculously decadent-looking cupcake, leaning back on her sofa and crossing her legs primly.]

Feels excellent helping them bring their wardrobe up to speed from whatever the last fashion era they got stuck in was, though.

[Not to mention she gets to dress people up all day. Score!]

But I've been thinking- since I got here, really- that helping people out with their issues might be why I'm here. Soooo...

What would everyone think of a little matchmaking? For people looking for Partners as well as people looking for romance- since really, they're both about compatibility to one degree or another. I'd have to make up some forms and stuff, of course, but I figured I should throw it out there, and see what everyone thinks...!

On top of that- would anyone be interested in an advice broadcast? I figure it'd be possible to broadcast over the network maybe once a week- folks can mail in questions for me to answer on-air, or just call in and ask live! What do you say? Good ideas or no?

[Though really, she'll probably wind up doing them regardless. She sits up a little straighter after a moment's pause though, and leans forward.]

Technically, I haven't, but it was moments away and confirmed by others after I arrived here. So I suppose it still counts.

I don't think it counts if you haven't, even if you know you're gonna. I mean, it's kind of an inevitability with most normies.

I don't think the expiration date is quite as pressing, in most cases, but I see your point.

I have grown accustomed to telling people that I have a terminal heart condition.

My cause of death will be a heart attack, if BREW sends me home. It will be nearly immediate.

Well yeah, but you're not about to drop dead any second while you're here, right?

Not due to my heart, as far as I know.

Then I still say that's not a good thing to say to people.

It is not misleading in any way that could bring another person to harm.

Harm, no- but you know, people might still worry about letting you do certain things if you go around more or less lying like that.

I'm the one who has to face a heart attack someday, inevitably. I think there's more truth than fiction to it.

It just feels like saying something like that to people is a little dishonest unless you actually have a heart condition to worry about.

The cause of my heart attack is going to be very complicated. Too complicated for the layperson to really care about. Think about it as simplification rather than deception.

Yes, but it's not going to actually happen while you're here- what I'm saying really shouldn't be so hard to grasp.

Oh, I understand, it's just that I disagree. The two can be simultaneous occurrences.

Well, then you'll excuse my saying so but- that's kind of awful of you.

Take comfort in the fact that I have a terrible and ironic punishment awaiting me in my home world.

What does that matter, if it's not going to help you learn to be a better person? It seems like a cop-out to me.
