Got a few questions. Need some information on the Guest run groups around here. Purpose, member lists, duties. Shibusen offices didn't have much of a directory when I asked.

Those of you who've been on investigation missions for Shibusen wanna give me what you found that'd be nice too. I'll share back. Anyone else just ask me for the information'n I'll send you a file, no need to stalk my conversations like a creep. [He is on to you lurkers out there and frankly it's disturbing.] I'd like a rundown of this whole war thing so far if anyone's got better info than the paper.

Finally can we stop beatin' up the poor civilians? They're annoying, but you all have superhuman abilities. Can we grow up around here?

That's something you'll have to tell them. Was there any divide between locals'n guests before?

'N I'm guessing the guest community doesn't have anyone who speaks for them. That right?

[[he shakes his head]] None that I ever noticed...

And I don't think so. Really... we're not that organized. There's a lot of small groups that are, but nothing for everyone who's been brought here...

Far as you know people have only talked one-on-one with the locals about the hostility, that right?

I don't know... [[he... actually had been rather wrapped up in his own chaotic affairs and hadn't been paying too close attention to the situation.]] I know there's been effort to track down the people making all the graffiti... and the people who've been attacking are getting arrested. It didn't seem organized, so I don't think anyone was doing anything as a group....

Basically far as everyone knows it the locals have become suddenly hostile over the course of a few weeks for no rea-

[Wait what the hell is he doing. This isn't even a mystery he wanted to investigate damn it! ...He is so easily sidetracked. Waving a hand dismissively he brushes the topic aside.]

Nevermind. Can ya just tell me about the war... Whatever you've been around for.

[[Yep, pretty much. But Bakura allows for the deflection]]

It's sort of a large mess... The witches are attacking almost everywhere, including here. Though we've done a lot better than most other places, thankfully, since we have so many people who can fight... a lot of the other towns... you just have to hope there'e enough people to handle all the missions... but with so many of them it never seems like we make much of a dent in it... But we did take care of the Madness emitters around Death City!

[[even if they couldn't save the carnival island...]]

Madness emitters? [The name is pretty self-explanatory, but... How do those get set up around the city with Shibusen in residence?]

Un... they're machines that the witches use to cause Madness. They were hidden in a few places not too far from here. One of them was in the island that crashed...

Why don't you tell me everything you know about this. How you found out about the machines, who stopped them, how the island fell, what witches were involved- anything you remember.

[[...that's a very tall order. One Bakura's not quite sure he's up to. Or even has many answers too]]

Shibunsen were the ones who found the emitters, and organized the group of us to go track them down and destroy them each time.. I'm not really sure how the island fell... Everything up there was a big mess with the black clowns and everything else swarming all over it...

[It's OK his expectations are mercifully low he's aware he's kind of being an asshole here sob. But that is something. Maybe he should go nag on Shibusen's doorstep a little louder.]

What's the black clowns?

They're sort of... mmm... I guess like a leveled up Kishin egg? [[actually, he has no idea what they are. Beyond terrifying.]] Or something in between a kishin and a witch. They're a lot harder to take down than kishin and they emit their own Madness, I think.

[[really, that whole place was so Madness soaked it was hard to tell]]

...The hell was a floating island full of kishin doing above the city in the first place?

[This is the dumbest plan of attack he has ever heard of. And he has heard some dumb ones. Wat.]

I guess they thought it would make good cover...? It seemed normal until the emitter started working...

How'd it get there in the first place? [Unless floating islands are normal around here admittedly he has been too lazy to read up on Earth ~~he already knows the geography and physics of one world damn it~~.]

I think it's just something that exists here? Everyone was acting like it was a regular traveling carnival....

So the island arrived. 'N then over the course of a week or somethin' madness emitters went off one by one and Shibusen sent groups to dismantle them. Then the clowns attacked. [Well that's a sentence he never thought he'd say ever.] I have this right?

[[More or less, yeah.]]

No, the first two emitters were a while before the island showed up... I think a month before? There was one up in the snow mountains and the other before that that was in an underwater cave system... Then the third one was on the island that showed up a few days before the emitter was turned on. The clowns were just on the island, it was just regular kishin eggs and I think a witch at each other emitter locations.

Why do the witches sound more organized than us... [It's so sad.] Did Shibusen kill the witches?

I think because they've been here longer and have more people than us... [[a touch embarrassed to admit that]]

And I assume they must have....

Thankfully not! I'm no where near strong enough to have to go up against one!

Thought this place got attacked by them fairly regular.

Not directly... They have minions that they send in. Giant spiders and ants that spit acid and things like that as well as the kishin eggs.
