[Maka is sitting at the kitchen table, legs crossed on her chair as she pours over her books for studying. It's obvious that no one is home, because if they were they would have stopped her from listening to really bad music. Something along the lines of this is playing. She's busy scribbling down notes and bouncing her head along to the music, clearly she's enjoying it. As the music gets louder and she gets more into it, she sets aside her books and stands up to start dancing...like anyone who is home alone. As the song ends she stretches and sighs.

Then embarrassment comes over her face and she leans over to see the device is on and blinking. Because she just knows she's going to hear some sort of grief over this. She basically looks like this. Nervously she laughs.]

So uh...anyone want to go training tomorrow?

Meister. I'm Tohno Akiha.

Ahh. Another meister. [She offers a warm smile.] Nice to meet you.

Have you been assigned a weapon?

Pleasure is mine, Albarn. [If only because Maka is as high ranked as she is. That respect doesn't come easy for, like, anyone.]

I've taken up staffs and pole arms. My partner is an Egyptian was.

[perceptiveness]

[She appreciates it. More respect than her friends give her. She nods.]

That's pretty cool. It takes a similar talent to swing poles around as it does a scythe. Have you been training here long?

I've been here several months now. Sion and I have become a fairly accomplished team amongst us guests. I will make her a deathscythe.

[perceptiveness]

Good. I like that attitude. With the right amount of determination, you'll get there.

I'll help in any way that I can.

[ritsu_kouyou]

[When you want to pwn a certain deathscythe for calling you and your partnership weak, there's all the determination ever needed right there.]

I'm certain training with you will help as we use a similar class of weapon. I was more unarmed oriented when I first arrived, so I know there is room for technique improvement.

[a pause and a frown.] My instructor is no longer with us.

[perceptiveness]

[Okay. Who does she need to beat?]

We really do. I've seen other students with staffs and a lot of the technique is similar.

[She tilts her head.] Which instructor?

[ritsu_kouyou]

[Sephiroth :| But no beating! Akiha and Sion will take care of that in due time.]

Kerr-- [Use Western order, Akiha.] Sarah Kerrigan. She was a guest that was a well-trained soldier in her world.

[perceptiveness]

[Pssssssssh. Him. Prove your worth!]

Sarah Kerrigan? It doesn't ring a bell. She must have been here while I was busy running around on different missions.

That is most likely the case.

[perceptiveness]

I'll tell you, I really enjoy my missions, but I am always glad to be home.

[ritsu_kouyou]

I wish the accommodations here were better. They are so... small. [frown]

Are you staying in the dorms?

Casualty Commons, yes. I've looked at some of the other places available, but they're all still so small.

[Sorry, Maka. Akiha is used to a mansion.]

I live in a two bedroom apartment downtown. They might have some other units available.

[ritsu_kouyou]

Those are still dreadfully small. I expect Sion and I will be moving out soon enough if my investments pay off.

[perceptiveness]

[She loves her little apartment, but she gives a shrug.] I guess it all depends on how much room you need. We don't need too much.

Where are you wanting to move?

The only place in this city I've seen that would be... acceptable is Fatality Condominiums.
