[He begins stiffly, stiffening, though they can only hear the quality of his voice, deadpan and deep almost to an unsettling extent.]

Of course I am new here. 

[Another pause and another sharp intake of breath before a slow and controlled exhalation.]

[Absently almost, he rubs at his face, voice becoming momentarily muffled.]

[He runs a hand through his hair. He has her here, he might as well utilize her knowledge.]

How do you move out of the dormitories?

[She looks briefly thoughtful at the question, but then nods decisively as she responds.]

I think you have to pay! Like, get a job and then buy a place! [She beams.] That's why I'm still here. I don't have enough money to move. Besides, it's really nice here. I have a nice neighbor downstairs.

I suppose that makes sense. How do you get jobs?

Well, I'm pretty sure you get a job the same way you get any other job! You go and apply for them! I'm not really... um... the best source of knowledge on jobs though. [Giggle.]

Then again! I got a job by making a friend! She needed help, so I got a job! I guess that's another way you can do it!
