[On the camera today is a new face. There's a short delay before he speaks, though it seems that he was just confirming that it was working.]

Hi, everyone! I'm Hiro Kageyama, and I'm one of the new arrivals brought in by that thing. I think that guy called it BREW? Yeah, that thing. I just got in my apartment about an hour or two ago, and after playing around with this communicator a bit, I decided I ought to introduce myself.

So... about me... someone on that opening tour told me that I was a Meister, which means I wield Weapon people. The problem is that, back home, I was just an ordinary high school student. I was never trained in the use of any weapons. So, if I meet any of you Weapons... could you teach me how to use you?

All this is kind of hard to wrap my head around... I'm still not really sure what to think. I just came from saving my own world. Kind of. It's a little complicated. I'm not sure I'm ready to dive into action again just yet. I guess I've got time to think... while I think, could you guys tell me a bit more about this place?

Umm, it's going to be a bit difficult to learn how to use a weapon at first. I mean, there's plenty of people who are weapons here who never used a weapon back home. Or if they did aren't anything like what they used.

[She paused for a moment.]

But if you're an ordinary student, how did you end up saving your own world?

Oh, it's... a little complicated. But we were given a phone app to summon demons with, and we fought off the invaders that way. I guess the term "ordinary high school student" doesn't really apply to me anymore, does it...

Nope. It really doesn't. But that's alright. I mean, come on, you managed to save your world!

Heh, yeah... we reset our timeline to before the disasters, so technically they never actually happened. But I still have the memories of the eight days. Nope, not ordinary anymore, even if there's no more fighting.

Wow. That must've been pretty weird. I mean, knowing everything that happened and not having anyone else know it.

But that means you saved your world and kept people from being killed, so that's even more awesome!

It's a little rough... I mean, there are little influences from the old timeline here and there- some people are friends who never met in the original timeline, and things like that- but it seems I'm the only one who fully kept all the memories.

That's true. Even if what happened was dangerous, I still kind of miss the relationships we had. I'm meeting some of the people I knew again, but it's just not the same.

Yeah, I guess that'd kinda, well, suck. That no one remembers what happened. Even meeting them again isn't really that good.

I know a bit about what that's like, but not on the scale you're talking about. It really sucks though.

It does suck. Sometimes I want to talk to people about things they did in the old timeline, but they wouldn't know what I was talking about.

You do? Did you do something to your timeline, too?

No. I haven't had any weird timeline stuff back home to worry about.

[Because honestly, what happened back home was kinda confusing enough to explain without it.]

But sometimes BREW brings people here, then sends them back home, then brings them back. But half the time when BREW brings people back, they don't remember being here last time.

It's not exactly the same thing, but it's close enough for me to get what you're saying.

Huh... I think I get it. It's still not quite the same as remembering a completely reset timeline, though. I wonder why they don't remember being here before? Maybe that's timeline stuff, too.

Yeah. Alternate versions of them is the... well, I guess currently accepted theory? I'm not really sure if that's true or if BREW erases their memories and then forgets to give them back. But in effect it really doesn't matter. It's the same either way.

Alternate versions makes more sense to me. But in this case, who knows?

Exactly. It's not like we can really get any answers right now, so worrying about it isn't really all that important.

... Even if I'd really like to know what's going on with that thing.

Yeah. I guess, in a situation like this, all you can do is focus on what you know.

... Anyway, was there anything in particular you wanted to know more about? Like where certain places are and things like that?

Yeah, that'd be great! I don't really know this place well enough, so could you tell me where some things are?

Sure. You already know where the apartments and Shibusen are from the tour, but do did you find out where Holocaust Mall is?

Well, there's a place we can start. Where exactly is that?

It's in the shopping district, pretty much completely west of Shibusen. It's pretty hard to miss. You can get clothes and stuff there at no cost to you since Shibusen pays for stuff like that.

Within reason, of course.

Oh, that's great! I was worried about that. I'm going to have to get a job here, probably... do you know anything about places to work here?

Yeah, there's a couple of places.

If you like video games though, the Arcade I'm the manager at could always use more workers.

There's also a bakery and other stores like that.

[She paused for a moment.]

... There's also a maid cafe, but I don't think that'd work out well for you.

Ooh, an arcade! I think I might take you up on that once I'm settled in.

[He laughs.] Heh... no, I don't think that'd work out well, either.

Awesome. I'm glad to hear it.

[Because serious, they could always use more workers and Hiro seemed like a nice enough guy.]

Even if you don't decide to work for us though, you should definitely stop by sometime.

Oh, I will. Where's the arcade again?

Pretty much directly south of the basketball court. South west from Casualty Communal.
