[On the camera today is a new face. There's a short delay before he speaks, though it seems that he was just confirming that it was working.]

Hi, everyone! I'm Hiro Kageyama, and I'm one of the new arrivals brought in by that thing. I think that guy called it BREW? Yeah, that thing. I just got in my apartment about an hour or two ago, and after playing around with this communicator a bit, I decided I ought to introduce myself.

So... about me... someone on that opening tour told me that I was a Meister, which means I wield Weapon people. The problem is that, back home, I was just an ordinary high school student. I was never trained in the use of any weapons. So, if I meet any of you Weapons... could you teach me how to use you?

All this is kind of hard to wrap my head around... I'm still not really sure what to think. I just came from saving my own world. Kind of. It's a little complicated. I'm not sure I'm ready to dive into action again just yet. I guess I've got time to think... while I think, could you guys tell me a bit more about this place?

Do regular high school students usually save the world where you come from? [Because that doesn't sound very normal to her.]

Okay, so maybe the label doesn't really apply to me anymore. But before the disasters happened, I was an ordinary high school student, and now that the timeline's been reset, I'm an ordinary high school student again. Except for the whole "having memories of events that no longer actually happened" thing. It's kind of depressing, now that I think about it.

What happened?

There was a series of disasters involving demons and aliens. Our world was being consumed by a void. We had to meet with the being behind the void and create a new world... or at least, that was one of the options.

What were the other options?

People had different opinions on how they wanted the new world to go. One group wanted a meritocracy, the other an egalitarian society, and a third group just wanted everyone to stop fighting each other. I sided with that third group, and we ended up resetting our timeline to before the disasters.

Why did you choose the last one?

I wanted to do what would be best for all of my friends, and I didn't really agree with either the meritocracy or the egalitarian side. They were both too extreme. It also helped that my best friend was running the third party.

Oh. [She can understand that.]

And everything worked out fine in the end, right?

I guess so. We reset the timeline, and now none of the disasters happened. Still makes me a bit sad that no one remembers it but me, though.

Why did you remember if everyone else forgot?

I don't know. I really hope it wasn't because everyone's will was too weak to hold onto their memories. But that can't be the case, because there's little influences from the old timeline here and there.

Maybe they'll remember some day?

I sure hope so. Maybe something will happen that will jog those memories. But... it's probably not too likely.

But they're still your friends, right?

Yes. If or when I meet them all again, I'll still be their friend. I don't know how they'll react to me under the different circumstances, but... we'll see.

[She tilted her head as she thought for a moment.]

I'm sure it will work out.

I sure hope so.
